Description from Strava: Bit gutted to say the least especially how well the training had been going.

Not sure whether it’s an anxiety thing come race day, or a underlying condition, heart rate much higher than usual.. and legs started blowing out at 12km 🤣 few weird big heart rate spikes as well so pulled the pin at 30, legs were well and truly gone anyway. Unfulfilling, but we live to run another day 🤙
