Good day Hivers! It is me @lovelyclaire and today I will be sharing with you my experience during our school's intramurals. It was such an exciting event that we all looked forward to every year.

Despite the long hours of practice, we all had fun and enjoyed the interaction within the team. We pushed each other to our limits and motivated one another to become better. It was amazing to see how much we had improved over time.

When the day of the intramurals finally came, we were all pumped up and ready to win. All the hard work and effort we put in during our practice sessions paid off as we emerged victorious in several events.

Looking back, I can say that the intramurals were one of the most memorable events of my school life. The lessons I learned and the memories I made with my teammates will stay with me forever.

Team Amihan

It's always an exciting time when the intramurals come around. All the grade levels, including the college department in our school, are divided into four teams - the Audacious Amihan, Simple Mayari, Humble Hana, and Courageous Idiyanale. Each team represents a different goddess from Filipino mythology, and it's always a point of pride to be a part of one of these teams. I'm fortunate enough to belong to the Audacious Amihan team, which represents the goddess of the wind.

During those three days of intrams, we are only allowed to wear our team t-shirt, which should be in the shade of green. It's always fun to see everyone walking around the school campus wearing their team colors and showing their support for their respective teams.

These intramurals not only promote friendly competition, but also help to build camaraderie and sportsmanship among students. It's a great opportunity for everyone to come together, have fun, and show their school spirit. I can't wait for the next intramurals to come around!

The intramural event was held in order learned something about the mapeh subject specifically in the category of Physical Education, here you will learned about how to be physically fit and other aspects such as discipline and perseverance of working out and exercising that leads to have a healthy well-being. It also gives the students the knowledge about contexts of physical endurance and sportsmanship.

Parade
IMG_20231208_104323.jpg

It was an exciting day as our school's intramurals were about to take place. The day started with a parade of each team to open the event. Luckily, our team was placed at the first part of the line, which made it more comfortable for us as we didn't have to walk too much, and it wasn't very crowded yet. The parade was lively with the festival drums along the way. It felt like a festive vibe that made everyone more excited to start the games.

We cheered and waved as we marched, showing our team spirit to everyone who watched. However, the last team that lined up during the parade was the Courageous Idiyanale team. They made a grand entrance with their elaborate props, catching everyone's attention. It was a tough act to follow, but we did our best to keep up the excitement. After the parade, the next event was the yell competition.

It was a category where each team had to prepare a cheer that would showcase their spirit and creativity. Our team had prepared a unique yell, which we performed using a beatbox instrument to make it more exciting. As we performed our yell, we could feel the energy and excitement of the crowd. We gave it our all, hoping to bag the prize for the yell competition category. However, it was not meant to be, as the team Humble Hana won the category.

We felt a bit disappointed, but we still held our heads high, knowing that we gave it our best shot. Overall, it was a fun and exciting day for everyone. Our team may not have won the yell competition, but we still enjoyed the experience and the camaraderie that came with it. We looked forward to the upcoming games, hoping to showcase our skills and teamwork on the field.

Community Dance

After the yell competition is the Community Dance by the selected participants. It was planned to have a community dance as it allowed all the students including me to stretch off before the awaited intramural events would completely happen. Everyone was into dancing along with each other, luckily they chose the perfect music for the community dance as the people enjoyed the performance they had shown.

It is good that they held a community dance before the events happened because it is nice for all students to build a strong and better connection with others and it also enhances our well-being and self-confidence. The community dance was a great opportunity for everyone to come together and have a fun time before the competitive events began.

I personally enjoyed the community dance as it gave me the chance to interact with other students who I may not have talked to before. The music was upbeat and energizing, and it was great to see everyone having a good time. It was also a good way to get some exercise and loosen up before the more intense events later in the day.

Overall, I think that having a community dance before the intramural events was a great idea, and I hope that they continue to include it in future years. It was a fun and enjoyable experience that helped to bring everyone together and create a sense of unity and sociability among the us, students.

Dance Sports

On the second day of intramurals, the dance sport competition was held. It was a highly anticipated event among the students, faculty, and staff of the school. The competition was divided into 4 dances, namely the tango, chacha, paso doble, and jive. Each dance required a different set of skills, and the participants had to be well-versed in all four dances to have a chance at winning.

The junior high and senior high contest was also separated from one another so that the judges could observe and classify better, in terms of mastery of the dances of each team. All the judges of the dance sport are M.A.P.E.H teachers which means they have a course of major in music, arts, physical, and health education. This ensured that they were well-equipped to judge the competition and provide constructive feedback to the participants.

As an audience, I would say that our team should have won the contest because I have observed that they are the most well-prepared teams among the other batches. Watching the competition, I and my friends really did enjoy each performance of dance sports and I was amazed by how they executed the choreography of each of their performances in those four categories. The energy, coordination, and passion displayed by each team were truly inspiring and it was evident that they had put in a lot of effort and practice to perfect their routines.

Overall, the dance sport competition was a huge success and it was clear that all the participants had worked hard to showcase their skills on stage. It was a great opportunity for everyone to come together and celebrate the art of dance, and I am already looking forward to next year's competition.

Sports Memitics

The Sport Mimetic Contest was held on the last day of the intramurals. This was the performance that our team really put an intensive effort. While preparing for this competition, we encountered a lot of technicalities which made us down and felt like giving up slightly. Thanks to our team leader, she made us calm down and supported us throughout the performance. With her encouragement, we were able to focus on giving our best performance.

Our team had practiced for weeks to perfect our routine, and we were determined to showcase our hard work in the competition. The theme of our performance was sports mimetics, and we incorporated various sports moves into our routine. The audience was cheering us on as we performed our synchronized moves with precision and grace.

Despite the initial technical difficulties, we managed to stay focused and deliver a flawless performance. The judges were impressed with our creativity, choreography, and execution, and we were thrilled when we received the news that we had won the contest. The hard work and dedication of each team member paid off, and we were proud to bring home the trophy.

Overall, the Sport Mimetic Contest was a memorable experience that taught us the value of perseverance and teamwork. It was an opportunity to showcase our talents and passion for sports, and we will always cherish the memories of that day.

Intramurals is one of the most exciting and the most awaited events in school. This is mostly loved by the students as this will be the time that they can take a break from academics.

Sports bring goodness to the students' lives thus, I really appreciate the school that supported this event so there will be a better development of the students' well-being.

I guess, it's the determination of the athletes that makes the intramurals more anticipating! We just celebrated intramurals this past few weeks, too! Although I am not into sports but since I know how to play chess then I took the risk! And, I did won!

Anyway, have a good day ahead (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)

We all know both young and adults enjoy when we win in sports or in any contest. But winning more friends is more important and enjoyable.
