PART 1

FREE ACCOUNT CREATION USING HIVEONBOARD 🚀

From the site, https://signup.hive.io/, you would be able to see that Hive powers many apps and is run completely decentralized by community members all around the world. With an account, you have direct access to the ecosystem.

Several account creation services are provided by the community, offering you different levels of privacy and ease-of-use.

Listed here, is just some of the ways you can get a Hive Account. Now, in this post, I am going to guide you on how to create a FREE Hive Account, using https://hiveonboard.com/create-account, created by @roomservice. 💙

Once you click the link, you will be redirected to this page. Then input your desired username, which could be a nickname or something you can easily remember.

After, choosing your desired username, input it in the box and it should tell you if it's available or not, just make sure it is available. Tick the Check mark to agree to the terms of service, then press the CONTINUE button.

Now, the next page after you hit the CONTINUE button, is the image below. In this page, you will be given your proposed account information, and you need to save it or copy it to a safe place.

The reason you need to keep it in a safe place is because no one can recover your account if you don't have this info. If you loose these keys you will loose your account and any currency in the account. These keys are how you will be able to sign in and use sites.

Scroll down then, once you have save it to a safe place. Read the warning and understand it. If you are done, hit the small box, and click the CREATE HIVE ACCOUNT button

There should be a Phone Number Requirement pop up to complete your Hive Account creation, and if there isn't any, it's still good, anyways, enter you phone number and a code will be sent. Once, you received the code, input it and...

🎊 Congratulations! 🎊

You have successfully created you Hive Blockchain Account, and will be able to access these dApps and many others not yet listed in here.

That will be all for the First Part of this Guide, I am thinking of creating the Second Part of the Guide where you can add your account on the Hive Keychain Browser Extension or in the Hive Keychain Mobile App.
