Espero que todos se encuentren bien en este día, por aquí la semana comenzó bien y deseo que ustedes se encuentren en el mismo camino, tomando fotos y contando aquí la historia detrás, creo que es una actividad de lo más entretenida y además, todos tenemos una historia que contar, ¿Cierto?

I told you in the past that I started working with photographs and designs, that is, I have been doing it for many years, but I started charging money for this activity. In this case I didn't do the designs myself because I had a cast on my hand and the mouse was difficult to handle, but that didn't stop me from taking pictures for a physical education teacher and remembering my times as an athlete.

Les conté en el pasado que comencé a trabajar con fotografías y diseños, es decir, lo hago hace muchos años, pero comencé a cobrar dinero por esta actividad. En este caso los diseños no los hice yo porque tenía un yeso en la mano y el mouse era difícil de manejar, pero eso no impidió que pudiera tomar fotos para un profesor de educación física y recordar mis épocas de deportista.

This day we got together very early, at 7 am. The idea was not to find many people and that the sun was not so strong so as not to suffer the session. Everything went according to plan, we even feared that it would rain and it didn't until we got back around noon. The session in my opinion was very productive and entertaining, especially now that I'm experiencing the professional in this branch, I like to go with more confidence towards the path of artistic independence I'm looking for.

Este día nos juntamos muy temprano, a las 7 am. La idea era no encontrar mucha gente y que el sol no fuese tan fuerte para no sufrir la sesión. Todo fue según lo planeado, incluso temíamos que llueva y no pasó hasta que regresamos cerca del mediodía. La sesión a mi entender fue muy productiva y entretenida, más ahora que estoy experimentando lo profesional en esta rama, me gusta ir con más confianza hacia el camino de independencia artística que busco.

We took moving pictures, continuous captures and some improvised shots to find the genuineness. Fernando is a young man with a lot of experience and a solid career, confident and determined, but camera shy. We managed to capture him smiling, ask him to go up and down the stairs to take different shots, we managed to keep him active so that he doesn't think he was being photographed and doesn't get nervous. He should not think about how he should look, but be himself, with the confidence he has in what he knows how to do, even if he does not know how to pose. The change of image he is looking for will be a challenge, since we will create a whole new branch of colors and an identity that defines him, and that's how I understand what I should capture in his image. My first impressions were: simplicity, professionalism, and commitment.

Hicimos fotos en movimiento, capturas continuas y algunos disparos improvisados para encontrar la genuinidad. Fernando es un jóven con mucha experiencia y una carrera solidificada, seguro y decidido, pero temeroso a la cámara. Logramos capturarlo sonriendo, pedirle que suba y baje las escaleras para hacer distintas tomas, logramos mantenerlo activo para que no piense que estaba siendo fotografiado y que no se ponga nervioso. Que no piense en cómo debe verse, sino que sea sí mismo, con la confianza que tiene en lo que sabe hacer, aunque no sepa posar. El cambio de imágen que busca será un desafío, ya que crearemos toda una rama de colores nuevos y una identidad que lo defina, y así entiendo yo qué debo capturar de su imágen. Mis primeras impresiones fueron: simpleza, profesionalidad, y compromiso.

I had some personal problems with the camera, there was something out of configuration, a little dim light and I could not define for sure if the photos were sharp or out of focus. In these personal nerves, I arrived in the afternoon and downloaded the photos to give them a touch of editing, since they are going to be used in Web 2 networks I just have to raise or lower the brightness, adjust the contrast and that's it. I choose the best ones in my opinion and upload everything to the work system and notify that the material has been delivered. I think it was coherent to what they were looking for and they have already started to change their image on Instagram.

Tuve algunos inconvenientes en lo personal con la cámara, había algo desconfigurado, un poco de luz tenue y no lograba definir con seguridad si las fotos estaban nítidas o desenfocadas. En estos nervios personales, llegué por la tarde y bajé las fotos para darles un toque de edición, ya que van a ser usadas en redes de Web 2 solo tengo que subir o bajar el brillo, ajustar el contraste y ya. Elijo las mejores a mi entender y subo todo al sistema de trabajo y aviso que se entregó el material. Creo que quedó coherente a lo que se buscaba y ya comenzaron el cambio de su imágen en Instagram.

These jobs are bringing me great challenges and the possibility to improve, to understand the client and not just photograph things, objects or people for pleasure. But to someone else's taste. It is a challenge that I had not gone through before and I think I have a lot of room for improvement. That's why I also intend to expand my work equipment and buy a better lens, for example. And also a spare battery, this is super important and I always regret not having bought it in the past.

Estos trabajos están trayendo a mi grandes desafíos y la posibilidad de mejorar, de entender al cliente y no sólo fotografiar cosas, objetos o personas por gusto. Sino al gusto de otro. Es un desafío que no había pasado antes y creo que me queda mucho por mejorar. Por eso también me propongo poder ampliar mi equipo de trabajo y comprar un lente mejor, por ejemplo. Y también una batería de repuesto, esto es super importante y me arrepiento siempre de no haberla comprado en el pasado.
