An Extensive Walk for Thrifty Grocery Shopping
Managed to catch the last scene of CNY before the management starts to take them all down.
Sometimes the decorations can last a about 2 months, but this time because the Ramadam is around the corner, from one decoration to another, designers need to.quickly take down gold and red and start decorating the gold, silver and green.
Really need to.appreciate the amount of effort they have put in just to get some great atmosphere of celebrations to partly improve patrons to come and dine while shop.
And because Spring is coming soon, so is Japan fest. To get the people interested with the country, sales of their favourite Nissin ramen is on the go.
In the end i didn't get the noodles, but opt for making home made pastry sandwiches instead.
So grateful that they have ready made ones instead of trying to do from scratch because lack of space and also the really hot weather.
After calculating (depending on what sort of ingredients used, including estimated electricity used) it still serves 1/4 of the store bought price per pastry sandwiche. Plus we could make so many (I think we got around 30) that served us at least a week of breakfast meals. 👍🏼
Having a good walk get the groceries is still a good money saving decision.
