I Took Public Transportation Challenge! π΅βπ«
There is a Chinese saying,"When the horse dies, you walk"
broken fender liner
This literally happened when I crashed my car at the side. The engine and everything is fine, but the bumper unfortunately was wrecked.
This actually requires a few weeks to repair if there is no stock; and while I still need to service my car I need to find ways to head to work.
And BOY, was I in a Merry-Go-Round!
I missed the early morning bus that takes an hour to reach the train station and thinking I could catch the next route, 15 mins walk uphill shouldn't be "too hard"
But I forgot I was lunging a 6kg bag to work today π©
Then after waiting for 30mis talking to another bus driver he suggested to take the train instead, because that bus I was hoping for ain't coming anytime soon due to the massive traffic jam.
At first I was hoping to wait longer, but looking at the massive jam I may be even later arriving the office, I plunged to the idea to take the train feeder to the nearest train station, and then take another transit bus to the office.
It was actually a real living experience and a pain to the wallet when I didn't understand and lost touch of public transportation? Resulting me overspending because didn't know about the baseline chargers that can be refunded.
I spent 3x more expensive than the actual price.
Sometimes, lessons are indeed learned through πΈ hard lessons....
No matter how tiring it was, it was still a win because I managed to still lung 5kg weight of bag to the office without a backpack.
Maybe it is off peak hours after the merry-go-round, but I was happy I get to renew my knowledge of how Kuala Lumpur's public transport works now.
The transportation is definitely friendlier in the city center compared to outskirts end of the town mixed development areas, where I so happened to stay in.
Nevertheless I am very grateful of the traffic workers who pointed me directions to walk across certain roads to the bus stations as safely as possible when I got lost.
Never again will I wear inappropriate footwear! Definitely not suitable with normal covered shoes even. This requires sports boots combination! π€£

Oh.. that thing? it takes more Overtime to pay. Hope you can manage too.π
I was searching around if you have document the crash, and I can't find any. Hope it's nothing major.
Stay safe for the time being.

I hope your car gets fixed right away. Taking public transportation is not fun here. I used to have to put up with faulty metro trains and horrible traffic jams. I appreciate working from home more. Thank you for the public transport tour. Happy weekend!

Yes. Having the luxury to drive for almost 20 years have really been a challenge for me to take the public transportation again. I can't say it was entirely horrible but I now know that working in a non direct public transport access premise makes me understand why it is so hard to rely on public transportation.
That tear looks serious. Hope your car isn't in a too much of a wreck.

Yeah, it was. I didn't realise the internal suspension covering is so soft and moreover the body is equally "soft" as well. π
