It has been a while since I haven't been posting much... partly because I was going through a process of grief...

And desperately in need of a spiritual detox

From the last inner healing journey, I though I felt much better but there still had some lingering flare or temper shot out once a while, until I heard pastor John Bevere's 20 years book republishing edition sharing.

He shared his painful journey of "church hurt" but how God led him to realise his u resolved offending feeling even though he forgave the person he trusted the most to hurt him.

It hit me hard as before the scammed incident, I was traumatised with an event that damaged my trust... then after the scam incident, wallet hack and this years round 2 of drama-trauma, I totally resonated with the pastor's feelings and how hard it is to intentionally bless our "enemies" taught by Jesus when we are "supposed to be victims".

And just today itself when I was processing grief to say a prayer to the ones who supposedly did an injustice to a fellow comrade of mine in the choir on his deceased body, I was literally in tears, but the anger and anguish flowed out from my tears as I felt the guilt and self condemnation left me as well, because as the "supposedly caretaker of the (choir) flock" the unseen unsuspected work-based pride underneath my skin was condemning myself why I didn't take more initiative to keep in touch with the our fellow comrade before.

Those were open doors from a lot of stress I have unconsciously picked up with that fleshly pride shouldering a responsibility that I should not have taken on alone without the LORD.

As I continued to slowly detox my soul, I will slowly attempt to detox my body again, especially being encouraged to see @samstonehill 's progress.

(Definitely not as drastic as his, would go gentle on myself with alkaline food first and probiotics 😅)

We must indeed need to love ourselves before we can be effective for others.

Here are the Intro and chapter 01 that I have scanned and made the fonts bigger for my parents.

Even though the book isn't small, but it was still hard for them. So I remade and printed for them in A4 size with the devotional that was at the back of the page.
