It has been mixed feelings for me the last few days...

It was an unbelievable awe (again) becoming a grand aunt seeing a new life growing healthily and strong...

How can we not amaze at the beautiful creation of life?

Everyone were so happy to give their blessings to the little one; from gifts to blessed red packets🧧 from great grandma and great grand aunts!

Being able to have 5 generations in one celebration is truly a blessing to witness.

And then...

The very same time I got a call that one of my pride and joy flock just lost her mom so suddenly.

The most unfortunate is when one already have an underlying compronised autoimmunity, even the tiniest cough and flu could go haywire and trigger a _cytokine storm_ and the lungs 🫁 could shut down within 48 hours.

It was really hard for the family, especially for her, who's expecting in less than a month's time. Her mom couldn't see her grandson anymore.

It was all too sudden

The trauma is real

Which got me thinking

Life is precious; so is time.

If there's an opportunity to meet up , family gatherings, friends gatherings... the consistent gathering physicaamong humans are important. No man is an Island. The human support is important.

Also, being financially ready for the finishing of this life is equally important. Financial stability needs to include final arrangements ready to reduce family member stress.
