In Enemy Territory

I enjoy small stadiums because they feel more intimate than their larger counterparts. It gives me a feeling of community that I don't really feel in the big complexes. When I attend games in the city, I feel more like I'm part of an army going to war with my fellow fanatics. In the small stadiums, it's more of a cultural event. Both help cement the bonds of a community, but each in unique ways. It must be said, however, that in this clip, I was visiting enemy territory, and although the margin was only one goal, victory was ours! 💪

"They think they'll come here and blow us out of the water," a father told his son after the game, making sure us traveling fans could hear him.

I guess there's still an element of rivalry and competition even in the small places.

I don't know much about football but I do know that in smaller places it is as you say, more cultural and familiar, there is a different atmosphere even if there is competition.
