Privileged mornings with Japanese maple trees: December 2 2021
Privileged mornings are those ones when I can do a bit of tourism before start working.
Yesterday was one of those days, as I parked near the Botanical garden and crossed it by foot enjoying the Autumn colors.
The garden had just opened and there were few people around.
When I got near its central square I noticed that red/ yellow/ brown colors in the leafs of an Acer tree that I haven't noticed before.
Actually, my favorite tree in the garden is an Acer palmatum that I like to visit from times to times :)
But I was not aware that there were more trees of the same species in the garden.
It was a pleasant surprise to discover this new tree.
It is native from Japan and South Korea and known by Japanese maple, palmate maple or smooth Japanese maple.
What I like the most it's their tiny leaves, which are beautiful during Summertime and also during the Autumn season.
This tree is used worldwide as an ornamental, so it's much likely that you may have it too in your country/ town.
