My Actifit Report Card: February 28 2024
It was windy, windy, and windy today. Garbage cans and recycling were blowing all over the place. I watched as a recycling can toppled over, and aluminum cans spewed all over the neighborhood.
All I could really do was chuckle to myself. I'm not exactly the fastest on my feet, especially with Doggie in tow. There was no way I was going to catch any of the recycling blown by the wind.
Doggie walked down the street a bit farther with me and then sat down and refused to go any farther. I contemplated towing him along by the leash like a kit in the wind and then decided to head back home, lol.
Our disc golf plans were canceled, and I spent the rest of the day doing a short e-bike ride to get some groceries and planted an onion garden.
The indoor onion garden:
There was some nice moss growing in the flower pot that I got from the yard. I started the first onion a few days ago and removed several slugs, snails, and other bugs from the pot. I think it is mostly clear of those things now. The second group of onions I placed in water first to get them rooted before I planted them in the pot.
There are some other plants sprouting up that I am a bit curious about. They could be native flowers or something.

the onion plant is growing very well, there is some moss around the roots maybe it is his friend😀😀😀
I will have to see how they get along. Moss tends to crowd out other plants but since this is inside I think the onion might have the upper hand and the moss might dry up since I don't water consistently.
Some times it can be storm 🌪 be inside stay safe my friend @lightsplasher
remove the sprouting plants, they are just parasites.
It's always fun, LOL to search for recycling around the yard!🙄
Hopefully tomorrow the wind will be gone....... Maybe the rain as well!😇

I think what grows next to it is a chili plant. But I'm not sure.

It's really nice this time for the first time we have grown garlic and onion in our land.
I really like onion plants. especially when planted in the yard. usually I can make noodles with spring onions

Maintaining onion plants like in the pot you show is certainly quite good, especially since we always care for these plants.
I myself make such small efforts and I like it very much. It is not the result of answering too much, but the most valuable thing is that a different feeling is created in the mind.
