My Actifit Report Card: February 16 2024
I played a difficult wooded course with a couple of friends today. I came in second with the scores at: +15, +16, and +31.
It was a really nice day to be out on the disc golf course. At first, it was a bit frosty and cold, but it warmed up and felt wonderful.
Usually I don't like playing this particular course and don't have much experience with it. There are a lot of places to lose a disc on it. I am starting to enjoy it more, though. Nobody lost anything today.

My new Simon Line Pixels:
I got these new discs today with my scrip. I purchased the orange one first and really liked it. After the round was over, I got the pink/purple one, too.
I like these a lot more than the Anode disc I was using before for close distance putting. They glide really nice and are easier for me to put some spin on and feel a bit thinner than the Anode. They are both 173 grams in Electron Soft plastic. I think they should be a better disc to use in the wind than my other main putter, but only time will tell.

A bright orange disc is easy to find in a lot of lighting and conditions. Pink is not bad either. I think the hardest color for me to find is yellow. I don't bag any yellow discs because of that. Yellow and sometimes red tend to blend in and hide under leaves and ground cover.

I am glad you are beginning to enjoy this particular disc golf course however, you still have to be careful with your throws to avoid losing your disc.

I love a pink disc.. so easy to find. I've never heard of a Pixel before.
It just came out on the 16th. I have been wanting to try a different putter, so the timing is nice for me.
I use a Dart.. I've got like 6 of them. All the same weight. My favorite one is over 10 years old. Very flippy..

You can get such a beautiful view of the field today, the field looks so clean and there are several trees around it, the icebergs also look so beautiful
They do look like icebergs because it is hard to see where the ocean is. These are actually glaciers on snow-capped mountains.
