My Actifit Report Card: October 23 2023

avatar

I woke up this morning to a 0 "readiness score" from Fibit. Having done over 27,000 steps yesterday and feeling a bit stiff, this came as no surprise to me. I ended up just doing some short walks and mostly resting today.

This evening, the score is back up to a 1. I'm not sure how accurate this is, but I'm expecting to head out and do some exercise in the morning. I'm interested to see what the readiness score will be in the morning.

Some rocks by the tub:

These rocks were collected around here based on the different colors and shapes.

A day of rest my friend!😄
Time to recharge your batteries, sounds like you're readiness score was on target!!

I think it was on target. It feels good to recharge the batteries and most everything feels pretty good other than being a bit tired.

Did you get your solar hooked up yet? 😎

Can we make a stone like that into a ring? In my area there are also stones with nice colors... but we can't make them into ring stones.

I think some of these stones are agates and could be polished up to make a nice stone for a ring. Usually, other types of stones are used more in rings though.

Yes, friend. At our place there are also many stones that can be used as rings. And when I was still in college, I also quite liked collecting beautiful stones

When I saw just 5k walks, I knew you didn't have a lot to walk about.
I love those rocks. They have various colors which can be identified.

It was fun collecting them. There are a lot of nice natural areas around here that they can be found at. I think I have plenty of them now though.

That's nice to know. Can they be sold and use to create something like jewelries?

It's good to take a time off to rest sometimes. You know those stones can actually be put in a transparent bottle and a flower in-between to beautify the house since it is in different colors.

That is a good idea and it seems like there would be less dusting involved. I might try that.

You had a very active day with over 27,000 steps! Feeling a little stiff after exercising is not unusual. It's great that your readiness score increased to 1, and it will be interesting to see the changes after your morning workout. Keep up the good work!👌

I was a bit surprised that it did not go up faster but I think the Fitbit is still learning how I recover from exercise.

I like your "rocks by the tub" photo. I am sometimes compelled to bring a neat rock, a pretty leaf or something else from nature inside with me. They frequently end up on my desk at least for a while or a window sill.

I also like to do that—feathers, leaves, etc. I found a cool rat skull once and had that around for a time but I think I gave it a proper burial at some point.

Hopefully everything goes according to your expectations, does the stone have its own function next to the bathtub? or indeed for decoration, there are several colors of the stone

It may be hard to believe but I found (nearly) the same piece of what I think to be quartz over the weekend! 🙂

That does look the same. Perhaps they came off the same mountain at some point in the way distant past, lol.
