My Actifit Report Card: October 13 2023
I did a short practice round today. The grass was rather wet, and I was wearing my new waterproof socks. They worked wonderfully, and my feet stayed comfortable and dry. I was concerned that the socks would leave me feeling cold and calmy, but this was not the case. I think they are going to be fine to play disc golf in. I might test them out again in Sunday's disc golf tournament.
If the socks work out, I might buy another pair and invest in some less expensive shoes. Waterproof shoes tend to be rather expensive.

Sometimes, it is hard to let go of something. After twenty years of great service, things tend to take on a life of their own. Oil change, new wiper blades, bright polished up headlights. The old car went out in style. The main battery gave up the ghost, and replacing it would have been costly. With over 270,000 miles, it did great. The sadness I feel is replaced by the joy I feel in knowing that the parts will go elsewhere and come back as something new.

African Violets are the best! I have one here that's got a bloom stem popping up and one of two I have at work is working on blooming as well!
I wondered too, when you mention the waterproof sock, if they'd leave your feat clammy. Good to know that they don't. I might have to check those out myself!

This is absolutely true, especially if you like that thing a lot. It's always hard but sometimes, you have to let go in order to get a better one.

It must have really been a difficult decision to let that old car go because you must have been so much used with it

It's certainly a fun day for you, isn't it slippery if you wear waterproof socks if you get wet grass? Hopefully this will give you more freedom to play golf even in wet weather
Something that has been with you for a long time will definitely be very difficult to let go of, like your old car, there are lots of memories there
