My Actifit Report Card: September 14 2023
We played the red/green course today. I had a hot round and set a personal best score of -2 with my friends scoring at +3 and +6.
It is odd that after getting a good score, I feel like I could have done better. There were three holes that I got a bogey on, and two of them were usually easy par holes for me. Really, I can't complain at all. My putting was feeling better, and I was putting things close enough that I didn't have to make any long putts. It was nice that I felt like I didn't have to take any unusual risks to score well. It feels like I am learning how to play from the shorter green tee pads better.
The four of us are planning one more round on the red/green course tomorrow. We wanted to get some extra practice for the tournament that we will be playing on it this Sunday.

I was tempted to play this course after the round but was feeling a bit tired.

The running water makes it a lot more fun to play. I keep telling them to think about investing in some solar panels to pay for operating the pumps.

I ended up scoring better today with a -3 on a red/green course. I'm not sure what is going on but I'm not complaining. My average in the past was around a +4 on the course. My arm has been feeling better and they did make a few changes to the course and improved the tee pads. Hopefully, I can keep the trend up for the tournament round.

It seems like your performance was really good in this round of golf among your friends, of course by getting the best performance you will feel like you can do much better and your mental state will improve.

It has been unusually hot lately. It is good weather for disc golf but this time of year we should be getting a bit more cooler rainy weather.
Today's practice went smoothly with your friends, it must have been very enjoyable, hopefully tomorrow's practice will be able to play even better in preparation for the tournament this Sunday, and the view of the disc golf course looks very bright.
Pitch and putt is great for improving your short game.
It sure is. I have been trying to get a few more rounds on it when I'm out at the course. The wind and water hazards can be an issue. It seems like a lot of really good players don't score as well on the course because they try to ace the baskets a lot. I generally don't have that problem and usually play for par.
