My Actifit Report Card: September 9 2023
I did some disc golf putting practice around the house. I'm getting increasingly dissatisfied with my main putter, although there really is nothing wrong with it. I've been using it for some time, so I guess I'm ready for a change. I am not sure what to change it to, though.
I like soft putters, and I've been using a really soft Golem putter for most of my short putts and approach throws. This is working out very nicely, but I would like to have another short-range main putter for windy situations. If it gets really windy, I like to go with the Harp disc, but it is a bit overstable for most general use.
I have been using the Anode as my main putter if I don't throw the Golem. It is a very nice neutral putter that works well in medium strength wind situations. My only problem with it is that it comes out very wobbly when I throw it and tends to get nose down when I am trying to get a level throw on it. The Golem comes out without wobbling and tends to fly out nose up. This causes issues hitting the band, but that seems better than hitting the cage sometimes.
I have been liking the Watt disc, but they don't make it in softer plastic yet.
At this point, I am not thinking of making any changes until after the eight week league. Maybe something good will come up, or I might go back to using the Link.

Keep practicing and trying different options – you'll probably find the ideal putter for those windy situations eventually. Enjoy your eight week league, and who knows, you might find the perfect disc or return to Link!
I don't know about the putter you said, but I hope you can find the best one that can make you comfortable playing
I think you want a new putter so you want a change even though you are still confused about what kind of change, I am sure that by continuing to practice playing golf with friends you will definitely get a balance in your swing
It seems like mushrooms are starting to grow a lot in your area, is it rainy season there?

Haven’t tried disc golf yet but looks like a nice and relaxing sport.
I personally think that whatever you are comfortable with or whatever putter you are comfortable with, I think it would be best for you to use it. Thank you very much for sharing this with us.
