My Actifit Report Card: August 17 2023
My friends and I played a difficult eighteen-hole disc golf course today. I won with a score of +15 to +22 and +37. The weather was nicer in the first part of the round, but towards the end, it got a lot hotter and windy.
I had a little issue with the wind on hole sixteen. It is a long par four hole that encourages a max distance drive on the second throw if you want some chance at a par. I have lost discs on the second throw because the prevaling wind tends to blow towards "the valley of lost disc golf discs."
I lined up with my new flippy blue D4, thinking it might be a left to right slight tailwind. I mostly didn't want to risk losing my red D4 because it is just about the right stability, and I like it more than the blue one. I threw the disc pretty hard on a slight hyzer, and it turned all the way over into a roller and went right into the bramble patch. (It must have been a left to right slight headwind.)
It was a good thing it did not stay in the air because I might not have gotten it back. When it hit the ground early, it kept it from going too deep into the rough where the vegitation is too thick to walk.
Next time, I will throw something more stable because it is less of a risk if something goes wrong. I have a lot of discs that would be a safer choice, but they don't go as far.
In a similar throw, my friend lost his disc on the same hole. The wind took it, and it went deep in the rough. I did not see his throw because he was playing up ahead of me, and I was looking for my disc. Usually, the person farthest from the basket throws first, so I was not expecting him to throw, and my other friend was helping me and didn't see the throw either.
I'm looking up towards the tee pad on hole six today:
This gap keeps getting tighter as the trees grow. I pitched down from the tee to about where the picture was taken from because I'm tired of looking for discs.
This is a view from the same spot out towards the basket:
I almost got a single bogey on this par three, but when I tried to clear a throw over the top of the trees, I did not get it high enough, and it got caught in some tree branches. I ended up getting a double on this hole, which is about normal for me.
It was a fun round, although we were all a bit hot by the end of it.

Beautiful course my friend, and the weather was a bit cooler in the morning as well!!😄
Well slightly Lol!!😅
A beautiful scenery that makes us even more excited to put the ball in, I have tried several times holding a golf stick, but I don't seem to have the slightest talent in that field😅
Success for you 🏌️
Actually, I have been doing disc golf, and it involves throwing discs. You don't need to use a club. Thanks for your comment.
