My Actifit Report Card: June 16 2023
My friend and I played disc golf out at a fairly difficult eighteen-hole course. I won the round with a +6 score to his +11. I can usually do a bit better than I did today, but I managed to find the out-of-bounds areas on a couple of throws. It was partially from throwing too understable a disc but mostly from missing my line and not throwing on the right angle. Just a small error in releasing the disc can create a problem on a longer throw.
I might take tomorrow off and just do some shopping and walking. I've been playing a lot recently, and I don't want to get any overuse type injuries.
One of my friends is out with a tender hip and has been having to take some time off. I hope he will be better soon. It is easy to do too much when you are having fun.
I did some putting practice as well today. I've found a way to get a bit better results, and hopefully, it will remain a good way to putt. Sometimes, I try something new, and it works for a while and then stops working, but this feels like a good change. I feel like I need to focus on what works for me and not try too hard to copy what works well for other people.
I got a second Golem approach putter with the last of my scrip that I earned in the last tournament. It will be nice to have two of these putters just in case I lose one. It also helps when practicing to have a second throw to see if you can do better after getting to see how the first throw worked.

Another good day with more of fitness activities and the count is over 13k steps. Beautiful sky and green surrounding looks nice. Have a nice weekend.
Thank you and have a nice weekend too. It feels nice to be able to exercise a bit more now.
Good to know you won with your friend. The sunset view is very beautiful. You have taken beautiful photography.
Thank you. Sunsets are one of my favorites to take photos of. There are a lot of nice ones around here.
Glad to see you are playing again disc golf and I think your arm is feeling better right now ok.
Sunset image is quite amazing capture @lightsplasher
My arm is much better now but still bothers me a bit. It could be a while before I'm back to throwing forehand distance drives again.
You are always winning your friend. Umm, I think he needs to uo his game.
Anyway, how's your arm now? Hope it's healed completely?
Nice to see you getting up to 13k walks.
I think it will be some time before my arm fully recovers, but at least I can do most of the activities I enjoy. I still favor my left arm for reaching up or carrying anything. I can rest on my right side for a while but there is some pain. I don't have a distance forehand throw anymore but that is mostly from not wanting to risk injuring my shoulder. I think staying active at this point is helpful for both my arm and other joint issues.
My friend has improved his game and was throwing as far or farther than I can but I've recently improved my distance with my shoulder healing. I think I might be more consistent in most aspects of my game but I have to stay focused or he will win.
Okay, that's good to know you both keep improving with time. I believe if the hand is completely healed, you would have done better than this.
Keep up with the game if that's what makes the hand heal faster.
nice sky light. good luck with your activities friends
Thank you. It was a nice sunset that evening.
You're welcome. the best for you. I also like to enjoy the sunset.
such a great day for you today playing on a tough eighteen hole course and managed to get the first point although not as good as usual and a great option for a day off so your arms are back to normal,
I see there is a pond on the disc field this time, did anyone throw a flying disc into the pool? the sunset shot is also very beautiful
The picture is of a smaller easy eighteen-basket course. The water hazards are a lot of fun and you don't have to worry about losing a disc in the water because there are tools to get it back easily without getting your feet wet. Usually, I don't put a disc in the water unless I am trying too hard to ace the basket.
Gotta love the water hazard..
This is an enjoyable putt-putt disc golf course with a few challenging baskets. The water is shallow enough that the discs are easy to retrieve.
Along with your words, your photography is very nice, one of our natural beauty surrounded by evergreens and another of sunset photography. In fact, thank you very much for presenting us two such beautiful pictures on both sides of natural beauty
Thank you as well.

I love the stone wall and water photo with all the lush foliage around it. That looks like a happy place to spend some time.
There are three big courses here and a little one where the photo was taken. It was originally a ball golf club and the facilities are very nice as far as disc golf courses around here go. Most people seem very happy to play there.
Oh ! That makes sense if it was a "ball" golf rouse before. Those usually are a little fancy.
