My Actifit Report Card: January 14 2023
I did a short nine-basket round of disc golf today and tested the way my Mantra disc flies in comparison to my light Insanity disc. They both have very close to the same flight numbers. It seems like my 165-gram Insanity disc is a bit more stable than my 173-gram Mantra disc. They do fly very similarly but I think I can get just a bit more distance with the Mantra.
I'm not sure I need both of these discs in my bag they are filling about the same purpose. The heavier Mantra disc might be better on a forehand so it might bump the light Insanity disc out of my bag. I would still have a heavier Insanity disc to rely on for a touch more stability and wind resistance. For now, I have both of them in the bag and have dropped a flippy putter disc to make room.
I didn't do much else today besides some stuff around the house and some puzzling. The puzzle is coming along nicely and might get done soon... or perhaps not so soon, lol.
It's the disc golf league tournament tomorrow. I'm excited to play a disc golf round that counts for something and hope to play to the best of my ability. As long as I don't get too nervous I should play fine.
