My Actifit Report Card: October 2 2022
I had a good round of disc golf today. I won my division by one throw. I'm not getting any personal best scores at the tournaments but at least I'm playing at near the level that I usually do in regular rounds.
Today I was underpowering my throws just a bit but otherwise playing well. Sometimes when there is a bit of wind and I see other players turn a disc too far I get very cautious in my game. One of the players on my card lost a couple of discs in the woods by overpowering some drives. He ended up scoring pretty well even with the errors. I think he will probably get the discs back, we might have found them if we had a bit longer to look for them.
I got myself a new 169 gram Wave disc today with my scrip. It is nice to be able to win some stuff from your playing. I have been wanting to get a more stable Wave disc and this should do nicely.

The disc course is really nice, I like the terrain. You can tell autumn is in the air. The scoring is sometimes difficult for me to understand, especially the guy with the errors scoring high. Of course, i dont know any of the rules!

Yup, the moon's got a bit of that aged parmesan or smoky aged gouda look. I think it is from the recent fires.
The scoring is a bit confusing but I did mean that by "scoring pretty well" he had a low score considering that he took a lost disc penalty and an out-of-bounds penalty.

Why are you playing AM division? I always play MPO.. if I'm gonna win I wanna really win.. plus I already have shit loads of plastic
Actually, I'm having a lot of fun playing in the AM division and intend to get enough scrip to get a new disc golf cart or have my "sandbaggers-R-us" card revoked by the community, whichever comes first, lol. I don't really have the consistent distance and putting skills that I need to be competitive in MPO and there are few people playing in the age related divisions so the payout is not very good.
The disc golf cart is a good idea.. I like the extra pressure of cash.. although I did better playing AM then I have playing MPO
