My Actifit Report Card: August 30 2022
Well, my friend won on a difficult eighteen-hole course today. Scores were +13 to +9. I managed to find a lot of out-of-bounds penalty points in the second half of the round.
My friend is improving a lot. He was making some difficult putts and his approach game was really good. It is wonderful to see him playing well.
It felt like I was making a few longer putts today as well.

In an unfruitful attempt to replace the battery that has given up the ghost and requires burial, I tried to get some support from the Phillips corporation. To know avail. Why oh why is it so difficult to replace a battery?
I probably can not even make any use of the charger at this point so the entire thing will have to go in the trash can. But wait - you are not supposed to toss out all of this e-waste are you?
I could spend a lot of time and effort driving around to find someplace that disposes of the e-waste properly but that could waste a lot of fuel.

Maybe there is someplace I can mail it to, to get it fixed or something. I will need to do some more research.

Oh boy! I have that same toothbrush, but so far, it's still working. How old was yours? That way I can plan for it's 'burial'!

It has lasted a few years but I don't remember when I bought it. I brush my teeth three times a day so it might be different for you. It still works but the light almost continuously flashes charging and sometimes it gives a yellow low battery indicator when I am done brushing my teeth.
I do 2X a day and this one is 6 years old ( I didn't realize it was that old, lol!). I've not seen the yellow light yet.
You would think they would help you with the battery replacement, but wait! That's logical! They really just want you to buy a new one so they have more sales! I've come to that conclusion with a lot of the small electronic devices (phones especially) that we use daily. Oh well.....what else can we do?

No, you cannot replace the integrated battery of your toothbrush. If you want to discard your toothbrush, we recommend removing and recycling the battery. For instructions on safely doing so, read your user manual.
However, another place said if it was faulty or less than two years old, they would repair it for free.

Mine is probably older than two years and I'm not sure if I can find the receipt. I know your supposed to save that kind of stuff but I suffer from a certain lack of organization around paper stuff like old Costco receipts.
I might see how much they would charge to replace the battery but it might be easier to just get a new toothbrush and recycle the old one. It is still limping along so maybe I can procrastinate a bit longer, lol.

I would be surprised if there was not something online that showed how to change the battery in your tooth brush, if it is changeable that is. So many things, like my current phone, are not made now so that you can change the battery. When it no longer holds a charge, it's garbage.
I did do a bit of research about it but there were not too many hopeful things to read. It sounds like a more difficult task than I am willing to take on. Still, it has been a good toothbrush.
Electric toothbrush??. First time I will hear about a toothbrush been electric 🙂. Need to do more research on it
It does a very good job cleaning your teeth. I have a lot of issues with my gums so having this toothbrush and a water-pick has been very helpful in preventing tooth loss.

I just saw the electric toothbrush box, in my area there is no such thing, will the toothbrush work while the battery is still there? or even if the battery runs out but can still be used
It is still working but the battery does not hold a charge well any more. It still does a very good job cleaning my teeth though. Once the battery goes dead it will need to be replaced because it can't be used while plugged into an outlet.
