My Actifit Report Card: July 31 2022
I had to try out the replacement disc that I purchased recently for my lost Loft Bohrium disc, so I played a few practice rounds. I was just playing by myself and didn't bother with scoring anything.
The new disc is a lot more stable than the one I lost and is about five grams heavier. I had forgotten how much I don't like throwing for max distance with this heavy a disc. Hopefully, I will get more used to it but for now, it is not getting very good distance for me.
It is also not the most consistent disc in the bag so I'm not sure where I will go with it. It might make a good forehand disc for me at this weight.
The problem I have with a backhand throw and heavy discs is that a lot of the time they come out of my hand early when I try to throw them hard. The rounded rim of the Bohrium makes it even harder to get a good grip. It also seems physically more demanding to get these heavy discs up to speed for me. I think I can work through these issues and learn to modify my grip and the way I throw.
Sometimes discs get less stable as you break them in a bit more so I need to see how things work out.

Hopefully, you'll get used to the heavier new disc after all your troubles.
I hope this new replacement disk works out for you, sounds like it's a bit different, being a bit heavier... Hope you're staying cool my friend, and congratulations on your 10 K @actifit step day!

Reblog your Post dear sir
I always hope that in your game you will get the best and don't forget to take a break to take care of your health.
I also see your photography is cool.
I strongly believe as time goes on, you will get used to the new disc. Yea you will. And by the way that was a huge actifit count you were able to achieve
I hope you can get the most out of your new disc, even if it's just playing alone I think it will still look fun while trying your new disc

Is it normal for them to get more unstable or is that just certain discs? That would be a little bit frustrating (although that is really the wrong word) to not know if it was going to be or not) Is it still advantageous to use the heavier ones (more power, I am guessing) or would it be better to use a medium weight where you have more control equalling more power?
Those steps are always great!
I estimate that it still needs to be adapted to the new disc, since you say that it is much more stable than the one you lost and weighs about five grams more. We hope that luck will be with him in the future, of course he must get more used to the new album, so that it goes better for him, that will happen. successes friend @lightsplasher
