My Actifit Report Card: July 22 2022
I spent the morning looking for disc golf discs. The first throw off the tee pad went rather nice and landed 300 feet from the tee in the center of the fairway. The second went into the rough.
To make a long story short I spent a long time looking for a couple of throws that went bad. It was windy and I was getting hungry, and tired, and after I found everything I decided to go home.
In times past I might have toughed it out and kept playing disc golf but with the wind and how I was throwing I figured I was better off quitting while I was ahead.
I found all my discs and found a DX Roc midrange disc too. There was no name on it so I figured on keeping it. I don't think I will end up keeping it in my bag but it might come in handy for when I'm taking risky throws near bramble bushes.
This photo was taken from inside the bramble patch looking longingly back at the fairway of the disc golf course:

very nice place, and suitable for exercising in that place.
It is a wonderful disc golf course but you do need to be careful and very focused in your throws.

very good photos with very interesting and beautiful caricatures with very good edits...
Thanks, the filters on the smartphone are fun to play around with.
The close grasses remind me of seaweed flowing with the waves.
The really close stuff is some nasty bramble bushes with some blood stained thorns. (Maybe just a little blood stained, lol.) It does look kind of watery with the filter effect. I enjoy seeing how the filters will change the picture.
That sounds like a good idea to use a disc you found to use in risky places. If it disappears again, no big deal !
It is an interesting situation where you are more likely to lose a disc that you don't often throw and risk making a bad round worse. If you throw a disc you like and throw often, you usually can control it much better and are less likely to lose it, unless of course you get nervous when you throw it. I go back and forth about what to throw on some of the more difficult holes.
