My Actifit Report Card: February 27 2022

avatar

I walked Doggie towards the east to explore a bit more in that direction. The ditch looks a lot different than it does when you follow it towards the west.

The ducks are happy:

I found someone's shelter in the tunnel:

I don't think anyone was there but I didn't check really closely.

The end of the sidewalk:

It always interests me when a nice well made sidewalk just ends at no particular destination.

An odd looking boat ramp or something by the ditch:

This got me wondering a bit. There doesn't seem like there is enough water in the ditch to launch a boat and if there was, there is a major drop off right by the ramp. I figure it would be the perfect place to purge your black water tank on your RV, lol. (Just kidding, don't do that. )

Maybe someone can explain what this is intended for?

A shopping cart in the ditch with a very large near empty parking lot in the background:

I found a clue for the use of the "boat ramp" I bet that is useful to drive your truck down into the ditch to collect shopping carts and other debris.

Thanks for reading! I always value your support and comments. The pictures were taken by me with my Galaxy S9+. Text and graphics copyright lightsplasher & litesplasher.

If you meant the parking lot I'm really not sure. Many of the buildings in the area have closed businesses and even when they were all open the lot was never filled with cars as far as I can recall. (I have not lived in this area recently though.)

Like it is an unused irrigation system or irrigation system. Its size is quite large, and I think it will be very useful to irrigate a place through the irrigation.
Nice place Chief...👍

the tunnel walls were like the walls of a star hotel.

@lightsplasher Normally Boat ramps are used to launch small craft using trailers and tow vehicles, and they require a sloping paved surface that goes from the level of the land at the top to a point below low tide that provides sufficient depth for the boat to be floated off the submerged trailer.

Thanks for sharing these beautiful photos. Today you steps are more than usual because of this long walk. Stay fit 💪 with Actifit and stay Blessed.

In the big moat, I thought it was only my place where ducks were always inhabited when the water wasn't much, it turned out to be the same in your place, and I saw your dogie was in the snow even though there was no snow behind him maybe he likes cold weather. As you said maybe because the water is not too much then the boat can't be launched, if it can be launched it must be very beautiful

The duck is very happy, there is stagnant water

Looks like the ducks have a good place to bathe, swim, and have fun.
Is there really a homeless person living in that tunnel?

As far as I can tell there is someone living or at least taking shelter there in the tunnel. The ducks seem to enjoy the area mostly year around. They seem to be getting ready for spring.

Wow! There's a lot of great photography today with blue skies and I hope the ice melts quickly so you can play your favorite games again.

I quite enjoyed the photography you shared by seeing the ducks swimming happily there. But some photography I'm a bit confused to explain because I don't know what they mean maybe even though I really enjoy nature there.

Stay healthy and enjoy your day.

Thank you 😊. The snow was melted enough today for me to play disc golf ⛳. The weather has been a lot warmer recently. I like to take photos of things that interest me when I am out walking. Sometimes I don't know what they are either. Have a nice day too.
