My Actifit Report Card: October 3 2021
My son and I played with a couple of other people at the tournament today. I ended up coming in 6th place in my division out of ten.
I played a better rated round than my personal rating so at least my rating will go up a bit. I missed a couple of easy putts though that I know I can usually make.
I also had a bit of a forgetful moment at the start of the round. On hole two there is a water hazard that you need to get over and you need a good distance throw. I reached for my farthest flying distance driver... it was not in the bag. I could not remember where it might be and then it dawned on me that I had left it in the practice field while I was warming up.
I really don't have a good backup the Shryke that I usually throw for max distance but I did make it reasonably well with the Sword.
Several holes later the someone met us on the course in a golf cart. He gave me back my missing Shryke disc so at least I had it for the rest of the round. It was really nice to get it back.
It might be worth bagging a couple of Shryke discs for use in a tournament where I know that there are a lot of longer throws that I'm going to need to do. I do have a few extra spare discs for that throw but I don't usually bag them.

Loving all the seasonal mushrooms. I wish I knew which ones to eat but probably not those ones.
There are so many different types out there. I think some edible ones popped up under my fir tree again. I will need to check on them some more.
I have know idea what type the ones in the picture are. I have not seen them before and I doubt they are edible.
Those Are interesting mushrooms. They almost looked like some baked treat with sugar spikes sticking out all around.
That was nice that ya'll didn't require your cardmate to climb the stump and throw from there. LOL....too kind.
When I first saw them I was thinking they looked like donut holes with some crystal sugar spikes on top too. I've never seen this type of mushroom before.
