We have seen players who resigned due to some challenges they are facing, such as injuries, illness, health issues, depression, lack of passion and others. Some players had no choice but to retire even when they don't want to because of the condition they found themselves. Why some decided to retire by their own will.

Ruben De La Red the Spain international is a Midfielder who had to retire early due to heart problem at the age of 25. He played for popular teams like Real Madrid and Getafe.

2.Adriano at the age of 28.

Adriano is a Brazilian. He is one of the players who had to end his career so early at the age of 28. The striker retired due to lack of interest in football. He played for inter Milan and was considered as one of the best striker during his time. Adriano had so many issues with the club because he refused to show up for training. One of the most painful retirement is that of Sergio Agüero, his retirement took us by surprise. After the Argentine left Manchester City for Barcelona, he had to retire due to health challenges. Aguero was advised to retire because of his health condition, he later announced his retirement in 2021 at the age of 33, the same year he joined Barcelona.
