Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge with Equal Opportunity

Splinterlands one of the best card battle game on hive blockchain. This week BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge is Equal Opportunity. This challenge is easy and also requires some basic understanding of cards used in battle. In this ruleset all units gain the Opportunity ability which allows them to attack the unit with the lowest health on the enemy team. As in this battle Monsters with high speed are very helpful so I decided to use some high speed monsters with some extra shields. In this battle I used "Pelacor Conjurer" as tank card having 6 health with magic reflect / return fire ability with some extra abilities Equal Opportunity and flying. Equal Opportunity and return fire these two abilities adds on every friendly monster. In this battle I used one tank heal ability card and one stun and resurrect ability card. This battle was low mana 38 so I decided to use some strong back line cards. This battle was life vs death summoners.

1. Only Monsters with even Mana costs may be used in battles.

2. All Monsters have the Opportunity ability.

3. All Monsters have the Return Fire ability.

As battle was low mana so I decided to use some extra abilities cards and also fill all spots. I decided to use some strong back line cards having resurrect and stun ability. I used "Pelacor Conjurer" as tank with no attack, 6 health and magic reflect / flying ability. On 2nd position I used "Shieldbearer" 3 malee attack, 4 shields and 10 health with taunt ability. On 3rd position I used "Bila the Radiant" 3 magic attack and 5 health with stun / divine shield and life leech ability. On 4th position I used "High Priest Darius" 3 magic attack and 6 health with resurrect ability. On 2nd last position I used Vulguine 2 malee attack and 3 health with scavenger and dodge ability. In this battle every friendly monster gets Equal Opportunity and Return fire ability. On last position I used Venari Crystalsmith 2 ranged attack and 5 health with tank heal ability. I am very happy with my team and if my tank card survives then my other cards will destroy the enemy team monsters. Let’s discuss my team one by one.

Pelacor Conjurer

I used Pelacor Conjurer Common Life Unit as a tank card. This card has no attack and 6 health with flying and magic reflect ability. I used this card on tank position in low mana fights as this card is very helpful with magic reflect ability. This card is the best choice for tank card in low mana fights.

Shieldbearer

On 2nd position I used Shieldbearer Rare Life Unit with taunt ability. I always use this card in all mana fights because of its taunt ability, 10 health, 4 shields and 3 malee attack. Hope this card survive and waste some enemy attacks.

Bila the Radiant

On 3rd position I used Bila the Radiant Legendary Life Unit. This card has 3 magic attacks and 5 health with stun and life leech ability. I always used this card as my back line card as this card never miss any attack and also increase his health on every turn.

High Priest Darius

On 4th position, I used High Priest Darius Legendary Life Unit. This card has 3 magic attack and 6 health but this card's resurrect ability is very strong. So hope this card perform well and brought back my strong monster back to life.

Vulguine

On 2nd last position I used Vulguine Rare Life Unit. This card has 2 malee attack and 3 health with scavenger and dodge ability. I always used this card as my back line card in low mana fights.

Venari Crystalsmith

On last position, I used Venari Crystalsmith Rare Life Unit. This card has 2 ranged attack and 5 health but this card's tank heal ability is very strong. So hope this card perform well and heal my tank card on every turn.

So my strategy in this battle was very simple as in this battle I mostly rely on my opportunity and stun cards. I used "Venari Crystalsmith" as my tank healer card so hope this card heal my tank card on every turn and also do some extra damage to enemy with its 2 ranged attack. If my tank card survives some rounds then hope my other cards could eliminate enemy's back line monsters. My heal and opportunity ability cards are very strong so they can do some damage to enemy back line monsters cards and also heal my tank card on regular basis. I think in this battle my taunt ability card performed well and hoped "Shieldbearer" could survive till end. Also hoped that my cards could not miss any attack and did proper damage to enemy back line monsters. Overall my entire back line cards did 2 ranged, 6 magic and 5 malee attack damage to enemy team. This battle lasted for 12 rounds.

My strategy paid off and my all cards performed well. Our today's battle challenge with "Equal Opportunity" successfully completed. In this battle my enemy brought death team with decent attack and all cards place carefully but my card combination works well in this battle. In this battle I lost only 3 cards and thanks to life leech and scavenger ability my card gets some extra health which survived till end. I liked this new change of weekly battle challenge from monsters to ruleset, so we can learn some new methods how to tackle enemy in any specific ruleset. You can watch this battle on My Battle link.
