Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge with Unprotected

Splinterlands one of the best card battle game on hive blockchain. This week BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge is Unprotected. This challenge is challenging and also requires some basic understanding of cards used in battle. In this ruleset all armor is removed from units and one cannot gain armor. Shield and Divine Shield are unaffected. As in this battle Monsters with magic attack are very helpful so I decided to use some strong magic attack monsters with high health. In this battle used "Drybone Barbarian" as tank card having 11 health with enrage / retaliate ability. I also used one tank healer in this battle so my tank card survives long. In this battle I used one poison ability card and one sneak and double strike ability card. This battle was high mana 45 so I decided to use some strong back line cards. This battle was Life vs Death summoners.

Monsters do not have any armor and do not get armor from Abilities or Summoner Buffs.

As battle was high mana so I decided to use some extra abilities cards and also fill all spots. I decided to use some strong back line cards having triage and sneak ability. I used "Drybone Barbarian" as tank monster with 5 malee attack, 11 health and enrage / retaliate ability. On 2nd position I used "Venari Crystalsmith" two ranged attack and 5 health with tank healer ability. On 3rd position I used "Djinn Renova" 3 magic attack and 6 health with triage / strengthen ability. On 4th position I used "Time Mage" one magic attack and 3 health with slow ability. On 2nd last position I used Silvershield Assassin 2 malee attack and 5 health with sneak / double strike and poison ability. On last position I used Iziar 2 magic attack and 12 health with void and taunt ability. I am very happy with my team and if my tank card survives then my other cards will destroy the enemy team monsters. Let’s discuss my team one by one.

Drybone Barbarian

I used Drybone Barbarian Common life Unit as a tank card. This card has 5 malee attack and 11 health with enrage and retaliate ability. I used this card on tank position in all mana fights as this card is very helpful with these abilities. This card is the best choice for tank card in high mana battles.

Venari Crystalsmith

On 2nd position I used Venari Crystalsmith Rare life Unit with tank heal ability. I always use this card in all mana fights because of its tank heal abilities and 5 health. Hope this card could heal my tank card monsters on every turn.

Djinn Renova

On 3rd position I used Djinn Renova Epic life Unit. This card has 3 magic attack and 6 health with triage / strengthen ability. I always used this card as my back line card as this card heal the back line monster cards on every turn.

Time Mage

On 4th position, I used Time Mage Rare life Unit. This card has one magic attack and 3 health but this card's slow ability is very strong. So this card reduce one health of all enemy monster cards.

Silvershield Assassin

On 2nd last position I used Silvershield Assassin Rare Life Unit. This card has 2 malee attack and 5 health with sneak / double strike and poison ability. I always used this card as my back line card as this card eliminate enemy tank card quickly.

Iziar

On last position, I used Iziar Legendary life Unit. This card has 2 magic attack and massive 12 health but this card's taunt and void ability is very strong. So hope this card perform well and every enemy monster card attack this card.

So my strategy in this battle was very simple as in this battle I mostly rely on my double strike and sneak cards. I used "Drybone Barbarian" as a tank card and hope this card enrage ability works well and does maximum damage to enemy on every turn. If my tank card survives some rounds then hope my other cards could eliminate enemy's back line monsters. My heal and sneak ability cards are very strong so they can do some damage to enemy back line monsters cards and also heal my tank monster card. I think in this battle my healer card performed well and hoped "Venari Crystalsmith" could heal on every turn. Also hoped that my cards could not miss any attack and did proper damage to enemy back line monsters. Overall my entire back line cards did 2 ranged, 6 magic and 4 malee attack damage to enemy team. This battle lasted for 3 rounds.

My strategy paid off and my all cards performed well. Our today's battle challenge with "Unprotected" successfully completed. In this battle enemy brought a strong death gladiator team with massive ranged attack monster cards. My cards survived thanks to triage and tank heal ability. Thanks to my sneak card which eliminate enemy back line cards quickly and I won this battle in 3rd round without losing any card. I liked this new change of weekly battle challenge from monsters to ruleset, so we can learn some new methods how to tackle enemy in any specific ruleset. You can watch this battle on My Battle link.
