Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge with Fire & Regret

Splinterlands on of the best card battle game on hive blockchain. This week BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge is Fire & Regret. This challenge is easy and also requires some basic understanding of cards used in battle. In this ruleset all units receive the Return Fire ability at the start of the battle. Enemy units that attack with ranged attacks receive damage back. Damage returned is equal to damage of the attacker divided by 2. As in this battle Monsters with malee attack are very helpful so I decided to use some malee attack monsters with high health. In this battle used "Grum Flameblade" as tank card having 12 health with Bloodlust / void / void armor ability with some extra ability like Fire & Regret. This ability add on every friendly and enemy monsters. In this battle I used three sneak ability cards and one taunt ability card. This battle was high mana 49 so I decided to use some strong back line cards. This battle was fire vs fire summoners.

1. All Monsters have the Knock Out ability.

2. All Monsters have the Return Fire ability.

As battle was high mana so I decided to use some extra abilities cards and also fill all spots. I decided to use some strong back line cards having sneak ability. I used "Grum Flameblade" as tank with four malee attack, 12 health and bloodlust / void ability. On 2nd position I used "Fineas Rage" three malee attack and five health with reach ability. On 3rd position I used "Sand Worm" six malee attack and six health with sneak ability. On 4th position I used "Tenyii Striker" two malee attack and six health with sneak ability. On 2nd last position I used Uraeus two malee attack and three health with sneak / poison ability, so if poison ability triggers then it will do some extra damage to enemy's monsters. On last position I used Magnor four malee attack and 13 health with taunt ability. I am very happy with my team and if my tank card survives then my other cards will destroy the enemy team monsters. Let’s discuss my team one by one.

Grum Flameblade

I used Grum Flameblade Legendary Fire Unit as a tank card. This card has four malee attack and 12 health with taunt / void and void armor ability. I used this card on tank position in high mana fights as this card is very helpful with bloodlust ability. This card is the best choice for tank card in all mana battles.

Fineas Rage

On 2nd position I used Fineas Rage Rare Fire Unit with reach ability. I always use this card in high mana fights because of its reach ability, high health and five speed. Hope this card could do maximum damage to enemy tank card.

Sand Worm

On 3rd position I used Sand Worm Common Neutral Unit. This card has six malee attacks and six health with sneak ability. I always used this card as my back line card as this card eliminate enemy back line monsters quickly thanks to Six sneak attack.

Tenyii Striker

On 4th position, I used Tenyii Striker Rare Fire Unit. This card has two malee attack and six health but this card's sneak ability is very strong. So hope this card perform well and do maximum damage to enemy back line monsters.

Uraeus

On 2nd last position I used Uraeus Epic Neutral Unit. This card has two malee attack and three health with sneak and poison ability. I always used this card as my back line card in all mana fights because of its poison ability.

Magnor

On last position, I used Magnor Legendary Fire Unit. This card has four malee attack and 13 health but this card's taunt ability is very strong. So hope this card perform well and stay strong as every enemy monster attack this card. If this card survive for three, four round then my sneak cards eliminate enemy back line cards.

So my strategy in this battle was very simple as in this battle I mostly rely on my sneak cards. I used "Grum Flameblade" as tank card so if this card eliminate any enemy card then it gain +1 to all stats. So hope this card increase its stat few times in this battle. If my tank card survives some rounds then hope my other cards could eliminate enemy's back line monsters. My sneak ability cards are very strong so they can do some damage to enemy back line monsters cards. I think in this battle my tank card performed well and hoped sneak cards do some damage on every turn. Also hoped that my cards could not miss any attack and did proper damage to enemy back line monsters. Overall my entire back line cards did 14 malee attack damage to enemy team. This battle lasted for 4 rounds.

My strategy failed in this battle as i lost this battle in fourth round. Our today's battle challenge with "Fire & Regret" not completed today. In this battle enemy also brought same team but with better choice and placing. My enemy brought some high speed monsters and place them at back end position so I miss some attacks. My enemy also brought one blast ability card which was attacking on my three cards at once. My tank card stand till end but my back line cards not survived. I liked this new change of weekly battle challenge from monsters to ruleset, so we can learn some new methods how to tackle enemy in any specific ruleset. You can watch this battle on My Battle link.
