Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge with Born Again

Splinterlands one of the best card battle game on hive blockchain although earning opportunities decrease a lot after land expansion. This week BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge is Born Again. This challenge is easy and also requires some basic understanding of cards used in battle. In this ruleset all units receive the Rebirth ability which allows them to self resurrect once. As in this battle Monsters with magic attack are very helpful so I decided to use some strong magic attack monsters with high health. In this battle used "Prismatic Energy" as tank card having 10 health with magic reflect / void ability with some extra abilities like Born Again. This ability adds on every monster. In this battle I used one tank heal ability card and one silence ability card. This battle was high mana 46 so I decided to use some strong back line cards. This battle was life vs dragon summoners.

1. Only Monsters with Magic attack may be used in battles.

2. The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health.

3. All Monsters have the Rebirth ability.

As battle was high mana so I decided to use some extra abilities cards and also try to fill all spots. I decided to use some strong back line cards having some extra abilities. I used "Prismatic Energy" as a tank card with two magic attack, 10 health and magic reflect / void ability. On 2nd position I used "Djinn Muirat" two magic, 4 shields and 7 health with void armor and knock out ability. On 3rd position I used "Phantom Soldier" 3 magic attack and 9 health with silence and flying ability so this ability reduce one magic attack from all enemy's monsters. On 4th position I used "Tortisian Chief" two magic attack and 5 health with tank heal ability. On 2nd last position I used Magi of Chaos 2 magic attack and 5 health. On last position I used Venari Spellsmithone magic attack and 3 health with dispel ability. In this battle one rule is Equalizer so the initial Health of all Monsters is equal to the highest base Health, so in this battle monsters start with 14 health. I am very happy with my team and if my tank card survives then my other cards will destroy the enemy team monsters. Let’s discuss my team one by one.

Prismatic Energy

I used Prismatic Energy Rare neutral Unit as a tank card. This card has two magic attack and 10 health with magic reflect and void ability. I used this card on tank position in all mana fights and specially in magic battles as this card is very helpful with magic reflect ability. This card is the best choice for tank card in all mana battles.

Djinn Muirat

On 2nd position I used Djinn Muirat Legendary death Unit with void armor and knock out ability. I always use this card in all mana fights because of its 4 shields and 7 health. Hope this card perform well in this battle.

Phantom Soldier

On 3rd position I used Phantom Soldier Epic death Unit. This card has 3 magic attacks and 9 health with silence ability. I always used this card as my back line card as this card eliminate enemy tank card with massive 3 magic attack.

Tortisian Chief

On 4th position, I used Tortisian Chief Epic neutral Unit. This card has two magic attack and 5 health but this card's tank heal ability is very strong. So hope this card perform well and heal my tank card on every turn.

Magi of Chaos

On 2nd last position I used Magi of Chaos Epic neutral Unit. This card has 2 magic attack and 5 health. I always used this card as my back line card because of two magic attack.

Venari Spellsmith

On last position, I used Venari Spellsmith Rare neutral Unit. This card has one magic attack and 3 health but this card's dispel ability is very strong. So hope this card perform well and do maximum damage to tank card and enemy monster cards.

So my strategy in this battle was very simple as this is a magic attack monsters battle so I mostly rely on my tank card with magic reflect ability. I also used "Phantom Soldier" card in my back line card because of silence, so this ability reduce one magic attack from all enemy's monster card. If my tank card survives some rounds then hope my other cards could eliminate enemy's back line monsters. My tank heal and silence ability cards are very strong so they can do some damage to enemy back line monsters cards and my tank card reflect enemy's magic attack. I think in this battle my tank heal card performed well and hoped "Tortisian Chief" could heal my tank card on every turn. Also hoped that my cards could not miss any attack and did proper damage to enemy back line monsters. Overall my entire back line cards did 10 magic attack damage to enemy team. This battle lasted for 13 rounds.

My strategy paid off and my all cards performed well. Our today's battle challenge with "Born Again" successfully completed. In this battle my enemy brought a strong life team but thanks to silence ability my enemy's magic attack reduce and my tank card also performed well and reflect enemy's magic attack on every turn. My cards survived thanks to tank heal ability. This battle was long like 13 rounds and I only lost one card. I liked this new change of weekly battle challenge from monsters to ruleset, so we can learn some new methods how to tackle enemy in any specific ruleset. You can watch this battle on My Battle link.
