Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge with Ferocity

Splinterlands on of the best card battle game on hive blockchain. This week BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge is Ferocity. This challenge is easy and also requires some basic understanding of cards used in battle. In this ruleset All units have the Fury ability. Think carefully before including a unit with Taunt in your lineup as they will take double damage from units with Fury. So in this battle Monsters with malee attack are very helpful so I decided to use some strong malee attack monsters with high health. In this battle used "Djinn Chwala" as tank card having 10 health with enrage / thorns ability. So my tank card is very helpful and do some extra damage to enemy monsters with these abilities. In this battle I used two thorns ability cards and one opportunity / sneak and double strike ability cards. This battle was high mana 41 so I decided to use some strong back line cards. This battle was dragon vs dragon summoners.

1. Only Monsters with Melee attack may be used in battles.

2. Summoners do not give any stat buffs or de-buffs or grant/use any abilities.

3. All Monsters have the Fury ability.

As battle was high mana so I decided to use some extra abilities cards and also fill all spots. I decided to use some strong back line cards having opportunity and sneak ability. I used "Djinn Chwala" as tank with 3 malee attack, 10 health and enrage / thorns ability. On 2nd position I used "Carnage Titan" 3 malee attack and 8 health with reach and double strike ability. On 3rd position I used "Desert Dragon" 5 malee attack and 7 health with trample / piercing and retaliate ability. On 4th position I used "Maggots" 2 malee attack and 3 health with opportunity ability. On 2nd last position I used Uraeus 2 malee attack and 3 health with sneak and poison ability. On last position I used Ever-Hungry Skull 3 malee attack, 1 health and 9 shields with flying / thorns ability. I am very happy with my team and if my tank card survives then my other cards will destroy the enemy team monsters. Let’s discuss my team one by one.

Djinn Chwala

I used Djinn Chwala Epic Dragon Unit as a tank card. This card has 3 malee attack, 10 health and 6 shields with enrage and thorns ability. I used this card on tank position in all mana fights as this card is very helpful with enrage and thorns ability. This card is the best choice for tank card in all mana battles.

Carnage Titan

On 2nd position I used Carnage Titan Legendary Dragon Unit with reach and double strike ability. I always use this card in all mana fights because of its double strike ability. This card has 3 malee attack, 8 health and 7 shields.

Desert Dragon

On 3rd position I used Desert Dragon Legendary Dragon Unit. This card has 5 malee attacks, 7 health and 3 shields with trample / piercing and retaliate ability. I always used this card as my back line card as this card become 2nd strong tank card.

Maggots

On 4th position, I used Maggots Common Death Unit. This card has 2 malee attack and 3 health but this card's opportunity ability is very strong. So hope this card perform well and do maximum damage to enemy back line monsters.

Uraeus

On 2nd last position I used Uraeus Epic Neutral Unit. This card has 2 malee attack and 3 health with sneak and poison ability. I always used this card as my back line card so this card eliminate enemy back line cards.

Ever-Hungry Skull

On last position, I used Ever-Hungry Skull Common Death Unit. This card has 3 malee attack 1 health and 9 shields but this card's thorns ability is very strong. So hope this card perform well and do maximum damage to enemy monsters sneak cards.

So my strategy in this battle was very simple as in this battle I mostly rely on my opportunity and sneak cards. I used "Djinn Chwala" as tank card with high health and also do some extra damage to enemy with its thorns ability. If my tank card survives some rounds then hope my other cards could eliminate enemy's back line monsters. My sneak and opportunity ability cards are very strong so they can do some damage to enemy back line monsters cards. I think in this battle my sneak card performed well and hoped "Ever-Hungry Skull" could do some damage to enemy monsters with its thorns ability. Also hoped that my cards could not miss any attack and did proper damage to enemy back line monsters. Overall my entire back line cards did 15 malee attack damage to enemy team. This battle lasted for 5 rounds.

My strategy paid off and my all cards performed well. Our today's battle challenge with "Ferocity" successfully completed. In this battle my enemy also brought dragon team with some sneak cards. My good luck that I placed strong thorn ability card which eliminate these sneak cards. I liked this new change of weekly battle challenge from monsters to ruleset, so we can learn some new methods how to tackle enemy in any specific ruleset. You can watch this battle on My Battle link.
