Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge with Explosive Weaponry

Splinterlands on of the best card battle game on hive blockchain. This week BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge is Explosive Weaponry. This challenge is also tricky and requires some basic understanding of cards used in battle and healers are very affected in this battle. In this ruleset All units gain the Blast ability and additional damage is equivalent to main damage divided by 2 on every turn. In 2nd ruleset all monsters got 2 armor in addition to their normal armor stat. As in this battle Monsters with heal ability are very helpful so I decided to use heal ability monster with high health. In this battle used "Haunted Spirit" as tank card having 8 health with heal / magic reflect ability with 3 malee attack. In this battle I used one sneak ability card and one heal ability card. This battle was low mana only 13 so it was a difficult to build some strong team but still I decided to use some strong back line cards. This battle was death vs dragon summoners.

1. All Monsters have 2 Armor in addition to their normal Armor stat.

2. All units gain the Blast ability.

As battle was low mana so I decided to use some extra abilities cards and also try to fill all spots but only three spot fill and one spot with 0 mana card. I decided to use some strong back line card having sneak ability. I used "Haunted Spirit" as tank with 3 malee attack, 8 health and heal / magic reflect ability. On 2nd position I used "Furious Chicken" one attack and one health just fill the spot and also waste enemy attack. On 3rd position I used "Silent Sha-vi" 3 malee attack and 6 health with sneak ability. So in this battle every friendly monster get Explosive Weaponry ability so on every attack adjacent monster also got some damage. I am very happy with my team and if my tank card survives then my other cards will destroy the enemy team monsters. Let’s discuss my team one by one.

Haunted Spirit

I used Haunted Spirit Rare Death Unit as a tank card. This card has 3 malee attack and 8 health with heal and magic reflect ability. In this battle this card also got Explosive ability. I used this card on tank position in all mana fights as this card is very helpful with heal and magic reflect ability. This card is the best choice for tank card in low mana battles.

Furious Chicken

On 2nd position I used Furious Chicken Rare Neutral Unit just to fill the spot. I always use this card in all mana fights if some spot blank. This card has 2 malee attack and one health. Hope this card waste some enemy attacks.

Silent Sha-vi

On 3rd position I used Silent Sha-vi Common Death Unit. This card has 3 malee attacks and 6 health with sneak ability. I always used this card as my back line card as this card eliminate enemy back line cards.

So my strategy in this battle was very simple as in this battle I mostly rely on my heal and sneak cards. I used "Haunted Spirit" as tank card and hope that this card heal on every turn and also do some extra damage to enemy with its magic reflect ability. If my tank card survives some rounds then hope my other cards could eliminate enemy's back line monsters. My heal and sneak ability cards are very strong so they can do some damage to enemy back line monsters cards and also heal my tank card. I think in this battle my tank healer card "Haunted Spirit" are very important and if it performed well this battle easy to win. Also hoped that my cards could not miss any attack and did proper damage to enemy back line monsters. Overall my entire back line cards did 4 malee attack damage. This battle lasted for 6 rounds.

My strategy paid off and my all cards performed well. Our today's battle challenge with "Explosive Weaponry" successfully completed. In this battle enemy team brought some balance dragon team with double strike sneak back line card and tank card with shield ability which reduce the damage. I lost my two cards and only my tank card survived till end thanks to heal ability. I liked this new change of weekly battle challenge from monsters to ruleset, so we can learn some new methods how to tackle enemy in any specific ruleset. You can watch this battle on My Battle link.
