Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge with Reverse Speed

Splinterlands on of the best card battle game on hive blockchain. This week BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge is Reverse Speed. This challenge is easy and also requires some basic understanding of cards used in battle. In this ruleset units with lower speeds will attack before units with higher speeds. Attack Accuracy based on speed will also be reversed. Units with the Bloodlust ability will increase speed after killing a unit. As in this battle Monsters with Ranged attack are very helpful so I decided to use some ranged attack monsters with high health. In this battle used "Hill Giant" as tank card having 6 health with stun ability. In this battle I used one snipe ability card and one scavenger and poison ability card. This battle was low mana 35 so I decided to use some strong back line cards. This battle was earth vs neutral summoners.

1. All healing abilities are removed from Monsters and Summoners.

2. Monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks.

As battle was low mana so I decided to use some extra abilities cards and also fill all spots. I decided to use some strong back line cards having snipe and blast ability. I used "Hill Giant" as tank with two malee attack, 7 health and stun ability. On 2nd position I used "Mycelic Infantry" 4 malee attack and 9 health with shield ability. On 3rd position I used "Hunter Jarx" 3 ranged attack and 6 health with snipe ability. On 4th position I used "Venari Seedsmith" 3 ranged attack and 3 health with scavenger / poison ability. On 2nd last position I used Goblin Tower 3 ranged attack and 4 health with blast ability. On last position I used Djinn Biljka 2 magic attack and 2 health with void / weaken / camouflage ability. I am very happy with my team and if my tank card survives then my other cards will destroy the enemy team monsters. Let’s discuss my team one by one.

Hill Giant

I used Hill Giant Common earth Unit as a tank card. This card has 2 malee attack and 7 health with stun ability. I used this card on tank position in low mana fights as this card is very helpful with low mana 3. This card is the best choice for tank card in low mana battles.

Mycelic Infantry

On 2nd position I used Mycelic Infantry Rare earth Unit with shield ability. I always use this card in all mana fights because of its shield ability. This card has 4 malee attack, 3 shields and 9 health.

Hunter Jarx

On 3rd position I used Hunter Jarx Epic earth Unit. This card has 3 ranged attacks and 6 health with snipe ability. I always used this card as my back line card as this card eliminate enemy ranged attack ability cards first.

Venari Seedsmith

On 4th position, I used Venari Seedsmith Rare earth Unit. This card has 3 ranged attack and 3 health but this card's scavenger and poison ability is very strong. So hope this card perform well and do maximum damage to enemy tank card.

Goblin Tower

On 2nd last position I used Goblin Tower Rare earth Unit. This card has 3 ranged attack, 3 shields and 4 health with blast ability. I always used this card as my back line card so does some extra damages to enemy other cards.

Djinn Biljka

On last position, I used Djinn Biljka Legendary earth Unit. This card has 2 magic attack and 2 health but this card's camouflage / void and weaken ability is very strong. So hope this card perform well and do maximum damage to tank card and enemy monster cards.

So my strategy in this battle was very simple as in this battle I mostly rely on my ranged attack ability cards. I used "Hill Giant" as tank card with stun ability. I also place 2nd strong tank card "Mycelic Infantry" on 2nd position. In this match no tank healer or repair card. I also used scavenger and poison ability card in this battle so it do some extra damage to enemy with its ability. If my tank card survives some rounds then hope my other cards could eliminate enemy's back line monsters. My blast and snipe ability cards are very strong so they can do some damage to enemy back line monsters cards. I think in this battle my blast ability card performed well and hoped "Mycelic Infantry" my 2nd tank card stay strong. Also hoped that my cards could not miss any attack and did proper damage to enemy back line monsters. Overall my entire back line cards did 9 ranged, 2 magic and 4 malee attack damage to enemy team. This battle lasted for 3 rounds.

My strategy paid off and my all cards performed well. Our today's battle challenge with "Reverse Speed" successfully completed. In this battle enemy brought strong neutral team also using water monster cards. My enemy used "Lux Vega" legendary neutral Summoner in this battle which increases one health, one shield and one speed of all enemy monster cards. In this battle my good luck that my enemy monsters miss many attacks. My cards survived thanks to shield and blast ability. I liked this new change of weekly battle challenge from monsters to ruleset, so we can learn some new methods how to tackle enemy in any specific ruleset. You can watch this battle on My Battle link.
