BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge with AIMLESS

This week BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Challenge is with AIMLESS. Splinterlands new gameplay changed from monsters to ruleset, as every ruleset has some positive and negative points and certain level of expertise is needed to fulfill the requirements. This week's ruleset is AIMLESS in this ruleset all monsters have the scattershot ability. As this battle is high mana 54 so I decided to use some high health monsters in this battle. I use few magic and malee attack monsters with high health. I used "The Kraken" as tank card having 14 health with Taunt / Demoralize / Enrage ability. In this battle I used 1 Opportunity ability card. This battle was water vs water summoners.

1. All Monsters have the Amplify ability.

2. All Monsters have the Scattershot ability.

3. All Monsters have the Return Fire ability.

As battle was high mana, I decided to use some opportunity and heal ability cards. I used "The Kraken" as tank with 14 health and void / slow ability. On 2nd position I used "Prismatic Energy" 2 magic attack and 10 health with void / magic reflect ability. On 3rd position I used "Djinn Oshannus" 2 magic attack and 11 health with void / phase ability. On 4th position I used "Deeplurker" 4 malee attack and 7 health with opportunity ability. On 2nd last position I used "Tortisian Chief" 2 magic attack and 5 health with tank heal ability. On last position I used "Runemancer Kye" 2 magic attack and 8 health with life leech ability. I am very happy with my team and if my tank card survives then my other cards will destroy the enemy team monsters. Let’s discuss my team one by one.

The Kraken

I used The Kraken Legendary Water Unit as a tank card. This card has 14 health with Taunt / Demoralize / Enrage ability. I used this card on tank position in high mana fights. This card is very helpful with taunt / enrage and in high mana fight it is the best choice for tank card.

Prismatic Energy

On 2nd position I used Prismatic Energy Rare Neutral Unit. This card has 2 magic attacks and 10 health with void / magic reflect ability. This card is very helpful with magic reflect ability if my enemy brought some magic attack cards.

Djinn Oshannus

On 3rd position I used Djinn Oshannus Legendary Water Unit with void / phase ability. I always use this card in high mana fights because of 2 magic attacks and 11 health. Hope this card could do maximum damage to enemy tank card.

Deeplurker

On 4th position, I used Deeplurker Common Water Unit. This card has 4 malee attack and 7 health but this card's opportunity ability is very strong. So hope this card do damage to enemy back-line monsters.

Tortisian Chief

On 2nd last position I placed Tortisian Chief Epic Neutral Unit. This card is very handy with 2 magic attacks and 4 health. This card also has tank heal ability. So this card heal tank card on every turn.

Runemancer Kye

On last position, I used Runemancer Kye Legendary Water Unit. This is very powerful card with 8 health and 2 magic attacks. This card also has flying and life leech ability. Hope this card's life leech ability trigger on every turn.

So my strategy in this battle was very simple as my all hopes lied on my tank card "The Kraken". If my tank card survives some rounds then hope my other cards could eliminate enemy's monsters. My tank heal and opportunity ability cards are very strong so they can do some damage to enemy monsters cards. I think in this battle my magic ability cards will performed well and hoped "Prismatic Energy" could reflect magic attacks of enemy on every turn. Also hoped that my cards could not miss any attack and did proper damage to enemy monsters. Overall my entire back line cards did 8 magic and 4 malee attack damage to enemy team. This battle lasted for 6 rounds.

My strategy paid off and my all cards performed well. Our today's battle challenge "AIMLESS" successfully completed. My tank card and few other cards survives and I only lost 3 monsters in this battle. My cards survived thanks to high health and heal ability. I liked this new change of weekly battle challenge from monsters to ruleset, so we can learn some new methods how to tackle enemy in some ruleset.
