Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge with Odd Ones Out
Monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks.
Only Monsters with odd Mana costs may be used in battles.
All Monsters have 2 Armor in addition to their normal Armor stat.
As battle was high mana so I decided to use some extra abilities cards and also fill all spots. I decided to use some strong back line cards having blast and poison ability. I used "Nectar Queen" as a tank with 4 malee attack, 13 health and fly / retaliate ability. On 2nd position I used "Legionnaire Alvar" 3 malee attack, 8 shields and 6 health with void armor and giant killer ability. On 3rd position I used "Centauri Mage" 2 magic attack and 9 health with return fire and repair ability. On 4th position I used "Mushroom Seer" 2 magic attack and 3 health with silence ability. On 2nd last position I used Venari Seedsmith 3 ranged attack and 3 health with poison and scavenger ability. On last position I used Goblin Tower 3 ranged attack, 5 shields and 3 health with blast ability. My all friendly monsters cards also got two extra shields. I am very happy with my team and if my tank card survives then my other cards will destroy the enemy team monsters. Let’s discuss my team one by one.
I used Nectar Queen Common earth Unit as a tank card. This card has 4 malee attack, 2 shields and 12 health with flying and retaliate ability. I used this card on tank position in all mana fights as this card is very helpful with retaliate ability. This card is the best choice for tank card in high mana battles.
On 2nd position I used Legionnaire Alvar Legendary neutral Unit with void armor and giant killer ability. I always use this card in all mana fights because of its void armor. This card has 3 malee attack, 10 shields and 6 health. This is very strong tank card and I used this card on 2nd tank card position.
On 3rd position I used Centauri Mage Rare earth Unit. This card has 2 magic attack, 2 shiled and 9 health with return fire and repair ability. I always used this card as my back line card as this card repair tank card shield on every turn.
On 4th position, I used Mushroom Seer Rare earth Unit. This card has 2 magic attack, 2 shield and 2 health but this card's sneak silence is very strong. So hope this card perform well and do maximum damage to enemy tank card and also reduce enemy monsters magic attack.
On 2nd last position I used Venari Seedsmith Rare earth Unit. This card has 3 ranged attack, 2 shield and 3 health with scavenger and poison ability. I always used this card as my back line card so if poison ability triggered, do 2 damage to enemy monsters.
On last position, I used Goblin Tower Rare earth Unit. This card has 3 ranged attack, 5 shields and 4 health but this card's blast ability is very strong. So hope this card perform well and do maximum damage to tank card and enemy monster cards.
So my strategy in this battle was very simple as in this battle I mostly rely on my blast and repair ability cards. I used "Nectar Queen" as tank card only card and hope this card perform well and retaliate to enemy malee attack on every turn. If my tank card survives some rounds then hope my other cards could eliminate enemy's back line monsters. My ranged ability cards are very strong so they can do some damage to enemy back line monsters cards and also repair my tank card shield on every turn. I think in this battle my repair ability card performed well and hoped "Centauri Mage" could repair shield on every turn. Also hoped that my cards could not miss any attack and did proper damage to enemy back line monsters. Overall my entire back line cards did 6 ranged, 4 magic and 3 malee attack damage to enemy team. This battle lasted for 7 rounds.
My strategy paid off and my all cards performed well. Our today's battle challenge with "Odd Ones Out" successfully completed. In this battle my enemy also brought earth team with very strong earth summoner Immortalis so all enemy monsters get void and shatter ability and my all monster reduce one health. My cards survived thanks to repair ability. I won this battle in 7th round and thanks to blast ability I won this. I liked this new change of weekly battle challenge from monsters to ruleset, so we can learn some new methods how to tackle enemy in any specific ruleset. You can watch this battle on My Battle link.
