My Actifit Report Card: February 4 2025 - Alive and Thriving Monday, and return of the Poachers!

Hello there friends and a happy Tuesday evening I wish you and also want to thank you for your visit!

This is an activity report for yesterday's activities - and since I am over the "5000 step-count" for today I will have to squeeze that in as well, probably early tomorrow.

And so yesterday started as a very foggy day. I went and fed the Kitties at the old house came home and ate breakfast. After breakfast I did a few small chores and took out the Black bike and headed to the Park.

When I got there it was like a "Poachers family reunion"!
Here is the first photo I got as they were all coming out from behind the bushes...

This is a second photo. I do believe we are looking at "two groups", not just one

I enlarged this area of the photo to show the sack of baby fish this guy has. I am also quite certain he is going to sell them at a bait stand somewhere..

A very lucrative business here, for some.
Also an "illegal business" for others, well the Police will be back again for sure. One of the patrons here is a "Cop Caller", so you know....
Well in any event I left there as I don't like being around anything questionable, and went through the main intersection here to head down the Channel on the other side,

I thought I would give you all a look, but to be honest... It's really the only place here that looks like that, everywhere else it's a much more Tropical Island kind of atmosphere.
Well I rode through there, and headed back towards the Shoreline and the Channel.
This is a look at the J.F.K. Causeway from the other side,

And over towards Padre Island, definitely "hazy"! That blue dot is a floating cabin. People rent those things out at around $250 a day - a very interesting business, to be sure!
This is under the bridge yesterday and you can see the water is so low even Seagulls are standing in it with no problem!

Well then I rode to the other side and caught the Sun starting to go down in the West,

And then I rode home! It was starting to get a little late in the afternoon, early evening and I had a few things to do so it was time to leave.

The rest of the "steps" were moving around the house yesterday.
