My Actifit Report Card: June 14 2024:Alive and Thriving on Sunset Island!
Hello friends and a happy Friday afternoon/evening I wish you and want to thank you for your visit!
This is a report for yesterday's activities, as I wanted to get it as far as possible, since lately I have had a hard time breaking the "5000" step count!
But I do have something different, a trip to "Sunset Island"!
But first, after my normal morning I took the Black Bike over to the Park,
Gets me between 800 - 1500 steps, more when I go other places as well!
So anyways...
I decided that although I took some nice photos - "nothing new".
I remembered I had an invite from a friend over on Sunset Island to visit. Since I did work to build this whole place, I figured I could walk around there and get in some steps!
So!
This is my friends "Fish Cleaning Station". I was one of the "carpenters" who built it!

Behind here is the other side of the Channel, and if you go slightly South and left you will get to Padre Island.
But also there is a Pier I also built - with others of course, though really only 2 others!
I included 2 photos as I liked how they came out!

Amazing stuff, I came here as a "Computer Technician", hard and software - and was good at it. Could not "Stand" being in an office "here" for 8 hours so..
I wandered into Boat building and then Decks and Docks - I was good at them all and the Decks, Docks, and Liers are still standing!
Anyways I also saw some boats out in the Channel. This one just came under the bridge and most likely heading home, and trying to avoid the Storm,
And another one doing the same,
Walking to the other side I passed "Doc's Boathouse",
And yes, someone is there 24/7!
Walking towards the "Bird Sanctuary", which is a part of Sunset Island, actually by land mass - most of it I saw the "Gates to Sunset Island Resort",
I built the Decks and Docks for this facility, and also did a lot of the Carved Artwork there.
However...
This is now a "Disney Enterprise" for the "Very Rich". I do not believe I can even get in so I do not try.
But the location is perfect, a deep channel for large Yachts, and close to where a lot of them live.
And that was it for Thursday and my trip over to "Sunset Island". It is located on this map right at the 90° in the middle,

What a lovely trip to Sunset Island! Amazing how you helped build the fish cleaning station and pier. You live in a nice area with a waterway so near. Must be refreshing to be able to visit there often. Do send some rain over my way. It's too hot here still even if it's now supposed to be the rainy season -- no rain in sight 😒. Happy weekend!
