A Minor Accident...!! My Actifit Report Card: April 12 2023

Once again I forgot to take weather report so enjoy my photography of cute little cactus portrait. Captured it few days ago when passing a market of plants.
Let's talk about the minor accident. It was with my beloved phone that I'm using since 2019 and I've attachment with my electronic gadgets and take care of them more than I take care of myself. The photograph above was taken via this outdated duel camera phone and I love my phone though its outdated one.
When I went for a walk and brought out the phone from my purse, it slipped down from my hand and the screen of it broken 😭 my phone is too good that it was on even It's body was hurt. Thankfully the accident was minor because the screen of it changeable and I need to change it possibly today or tomorrow.
This is not the first time when my phone had such minor accident but this time the glass on it broken like my phone looks like tortured by me. After changing the glass paper on it, the phone will look new one.
Whoever see my phone they think its a new phone and when I tell them its already 4 years old, they give a surprised look and appreciate that I take care of my device.
My phone is my best friend and I spend maximum time with it. I love it and I don't need a new phone though I can afford a new one. I believe old is gold and my phone is a piece of gold to me! Heheh!

Sounds like you are very happy with your phone my friend, what kind of phone do you have?
I've a china brand phone to use but its functioning good. Its a Xiaomi phone with duel camera, these days phone has 4 cameras, so advance! But my phone is old. No problem old is gold heheh!

I'm sorry that it got broken but glad it's an easy fix! I too, once upon a time, had a favorite phone; my iPhone 6S Plus. I loved the size of it (it was bigger than what I have now) and it took the most awesome photos. It was pushing 5 years when the battery just would not hold a charge. I had a battery case I used with it, but it would also get hot. I retired it when I purchased the iPhone 2020 SE in 2020. I have to admit, it's camera is better than the old one, but I do miss the size of that 6S plus! The battery on it did eventually swell. I searched on Amazon and found a battery replacement. Then it was time for the surgery. @silvertop and myself did it. Oftentimes, his fingers were just too big for that microscopic stuff! We did get it changed out and put back together. It sits fully charged as a back up phone, should I need one. I can just move my SIM card and it will work.
I think it's great that you still have a tried and trusted phone! As long as they work correctly, why does it matter if it's not the latest version?
