Can you believe it's been just over a year when I gave up this competition? Well, I'm back, but this time, with much better prizes and in a new community!

The new community will be The City of Neoxian. Why? Because they have been going for years and often slip under the radar and there is a thriving group of members, a discord channel which I shall be popping into to say 'hello' shortly and they still have a token that has some value, unlike most other tokens. Most importantly though, the folks here seem like a great bunch and very loyal to their community which is why its still thriving after so many years. Over the weekend, I'll be buying a few tokens to make sure that my votes will also be sharing a few tokens everyones way.

I mentioned prizes. Obviously the Sports Talk Social tokens are worthless these days so I'm going to go back to another old favourite, HSBI, Hive Steem Basic Income Tokens which if you don't know what they are, provide you with a little upvote on each post so are a great way to build up your savings over time and promote the long term use of Hive. Read all about them here. One of the prizes will also be @ecency points so winners will be able to give their own, or a friend's post a little boost.

First Goal Scorer will win 1 HSBI share which if not won, will rollover until it is won, and
Correct Score will win 150 Ecency Points which again, if not won will rollover.

Everyone will get a little upvote on their entry, which after delegating from my main account ought to stay above the 0.02c dust level as well as giving you a few Hive Engine tokens.

My prediction is :-
Chelsea 4 : 1 Luton Town
Caicedo to score the first goal

Chelsea haven't had the greatest start to the new campaign having only picked up 1 point out of a possible 6. They've not looked too bad but seemed to lack any sort of cohesion. Despite this, after watching them lose against the Hammers, I thought they were a little unlucky. Sterling was on fire. They are however, ravaged by injuries and Lukaku on his way out isn't helping their cause.

But...

Does anyone actually believe that Prem new boys Luton Town are going to get anything against them in only their second game back? To be fair, a 4-1 hammering away to the Seagulls wasn't as much of an embarrassment as the scoreline may suggest but its going to be possibly and even tougher test today. Luton do, of course, have former Chelsea boy Ross Barkley aiming for a spot in the starting line-up but there is a reason he's a 'former' Chelsea player!

In the first goal scorer competition, own goals do not count. In the correct score competition, it's the score after 90 mins. Extra time and penalties do not count and the pot for each competition will rollover if it doesn't get won. If more than one person chooses the same first goal scorer or correct score, the prize is shared, and everyone gets a little upvote! Don't forget, you can't choose the same prediction as me! It seems I also need to add, one entry per person. Don't forget new rule that only people with a rep of 50 or above are eligible to enter unless they have been approved.
