A scoring debut for one of the Japanese trio last night at Parkhead as Celtic fairly comfortably took down Hibernian by 2-0.

Sadly, it wasn't my boy Ideguchi but his compatriot, Daizen Maeda after just 4 minutes. Hibs worked hard but never really looked like getting anything from the game and when Juranovic slotted home a penalty to double the score after 25mins, the result was never in doubt.

To Hibernian's credit, they never gave up and despite Celtic's superiority, and the much lauded return of Jota from the bench, they couldn't add to their total.

Tonight, we're back to the Premier League and with Burnley v Watford, the match I was going to choose, being postponed, it just leaves us with...

This looks like a really tough one to call. Brighton come into this unbeaten in 4 and are trying hard to make that extra push towards the European places.

They don't have a team of superstars but manager, Graham Potter has them organised and playing as a unit. There is talk of him being a candidate for the vacancy at Everton but I'm sure he will be keeping his eye on the ball and not letting rumours get in the way of preparing his side for such a huge game.

Brighton do seem to struggle for goals however, their total so far of 21 is only better than Wolves, Norwich and Burnley and is a serious achilles heel which needs to be addressed in the transfer window.

Chelsea, in 3rd, seem to be having a little stutter and their lack of firepower cost them the points against City at the weekend. Taking only 6 points from 15 in the last 5 games, Tuchel will surely want them to return to winning ways, helped along no doubt by the possible return of Mason Mount.

The Small Print

In the first goalscorer competition, own goals do not count. In the correct score competition, it's the score after 90mins. Extra time and penalties do not count and the pot for each competition will roll over if there is no winner. If more than one person chooses the same first goal scorer or correct score, the prize is shared, and everyone gets a little upvote! It seems I also need to add, one entry per person. Don't forget the new rule that only people with a rep of 50 or above are eligible to enter unless they have been approved. The bonus will be added to any winnings ONLY if Leeds United win and/or Man U lose and all pay-outs will never exceed 50% of post-pay-out. Other bonuses are paid out at my discretion.

Rather surprisingly, no one got the 2-0 scoreline or unsurprisingly, Maeda as first goalscorer so the pots rise up for today's game.
