Leeds have had a great Christmas period so far and haven't lost or conceded a goal in over a week now, obviously due to the fact we've had two postponements!
More football today and looking down the fixtures it seems three of the four have just kicked off with Watford already leading West Ham by a goal to nil which for Leeds, is not the result I'm looking for but moving onto our game tonight, its the biggest game of the day between...

Liverpool desperately need a win from their game in hand to close a six-point gap to top of the table City after their game against Leeds was postponed on Boxing day.

The good news from Klopp in his presser was that Virgil van Dijk, Fabinho, Thiago and Curtis Jones have all returned to training after spending 10 days in isolation.

Not good news for Leicester however! Like Leeds, they are also struggling very badly with injuries and Brenden Rodgers waiting until the last minute to know whether a late fitness test for Vardy will be some much needed good news or another hammer blow.

Despite their problems, they pulled back from 4-0 down to 4-3 against City before succumbing to another brace and finishing on the end of a 6-3 beating but injury problems are the last you need when playing a Liverpool side that seems to score at will with their free-flowing style of attacking play.

I have feeling there maybe another hammering on the cards...

The Small Print

In the first goalscorer competition, own goals do not count. In the correct score competition, it's the score after 90mins. Extra time and penalties do not count and the pot for each competition will roll over if there is no winner. If more than one person chooses the same first goal scorer or correct score, the prize is shared, and everyone gets a little upvote! It seems I also need to add, one entry per person. Don't forget the new rule that only people with a rep of 50 or above are eligible to enter unless they have been approved. The bonus will be added to any winnings ONLY if Leeds United win and/or Man U lose and all pay-outs will never exceed 50% of post-pay-out. Other bonuses are paid out at my discretion.

And the Winners were...

Last time out, Chelsea put an end to a fine run from Villa by 1-3 with the first goal actually being an own goal by Chelseas' James which doesn't count for our game so the honour goes to Jorghino and looking down the list of entries, we had lots of Mounts and Lukakus but no Jorghino so the prize rolls.

As for the scoreline, we had but one winner so step forward and receive the plaudits @hirohurl who takes home the full 10K pot! Well done mate :-)
