My Actifit Report Card: June 10 2022
This is the view at the viewdeck on the parking lot of one of the malls in the city.
I went out for a walk and the initial idea was to check out the manhole covers which were not that interesting but here they are.
The first one is the most modern of them all I think.
I quickly lost interest of them as there were other interesting things to look at rather than just looking down.
This is one of the flyovers that I get to pass by everytime. There were no vehicles yet. Although it is already bright, it was only around 6 a.m. Not that busy Friday morning.
I then arrived at this mural that needs a repaint for the colors have already faded. This is just one of the murals you get to see around the city. This depicts the Cordilleran tradition and culture and that is the main theme in all the murals.
As I was approaching this group, their ride arrived to take them somewhere for a hike for sure. They were all carrying huge backpacks some even bigger than those who carry them.
This motorcycle was parked in one ofthe malls. I saw this posted by someone online and I wasn't expecting to see it for myself. I thought by now this would have been cleaned up. I wonder where it was parked and for how long for it to arrive at such condition.
Flags adorn the streets and establishments in time for the independence day celebration.
A barbershop and an eatery ready for business.
I really have no idea where to go but I was heading towards the park but in my mind I'm trying to think of where else to go. Good thing I decided to go up Session Road and that gave me the idea to check out the stairs that lead to the cathedral.
The stairs originally was open and roofless until it was decided to put a roof. It was helpful for it does give you shade from sun and rain. For a while it was a good idea. Then it was decided yet again to remove the roof.
This is the window of the cafe at the foot of the stairs. I like the idea of swings as chairs for the diners. That's one way to attract customers.
They gave it an upgrade such that it has become a point of interest by itself. It does look nice at daytime. I wonder how it does look at night.
Statues of saints line up the stairs. Plants were added and lights too.
I'll be posting more about this once I have visited this at dark.
I then checked out the cathedral and its surroundings.
I think even the areas around the cathedral had some improvement like this pot. I don't recall seeing this before. Pots like these line up across the church.
I then left and walked towards the post office and took this photo of some of the paintings that line up the stairs going down Session Road.
I like that the crates' colors match the flags both on the street and the establishments.
It's about time that this blank lot will be having a new building built. This had been empty for a long time since the previous establishment that used to be there was destroyed.
Finally, this is one of hotels that line up Session Road. I took this shot as I walked up the street on my way home.
There goes my walk for today.
All photos are mine.

I'm truly in awe with your captures again my friend lee. Like I can't help but feel astound on each one. Anyway, I love the idea of cafe with swings. If I were there, I'd also want to try that out, so peculiar.
