My Actifit Report Card: February 26 2022
Finally I was able to do more than 20k steps again after a long time. From our place I then walked the same route but I didn't go to where I do my jogging. I took the way going to one of the golf courses here in the city.
I didn't know there were major excavations being done in these parts. Also, the pine trees are in bloom. Some trees have their flowers forming pine cones already.
For market friday, I then headed to town and bought pancit (stir fried noodles with vegetables and chicken) and bread in one of the restaurants in the city which is Good Taste. If ever you come to the city, you have got to try it here. They have two branches and I went to the one nearest to our jeepney terminal.
I ordered at the counter and waited for my order. It took longer than expected but understandably so for the place is already full.
The pancit costs Php210.00 and it can serve more or less 4 people. Pancit is a complete meal by itself.
I then ordered cream puffs which is priced at Php20.00 each. I was surprised by how pricey it is now. I think it was less than Php10.00 back then.
Since they only had 3 pieces left that time, I ordered another bread which is coconut roll at Php12.00 each. I was thinking it is filled with coconut but it's filled with cream too just like the cream puff only the bread is different.
Those served as our breakfast for today. Whenever we want to dine out where we can get the most of our money, Good Taste is the answer.
The kitchen is located at the second floor and orders are placed in these dumb waiters amd the staff will then serve those to customers.
I also picked up my orders from the shop where my friend drops orders. She sells items online both new and used items. Dropping centers or areas more known as DAs have become profitable and many shops are adding that service. Sellers would delivery items to these DAs and the buyers would then pick them up at their convenience. The DAs would then charge a small fee for each order that the buyer will shoulder.
My friend on the other hand pays the handling fee.
So these are the items I bought. The pot/pan holder or cheese tray is a stone ware that I bought at Php250.00. The bigger mug costs Php70.00.
The smaller mug and the pig figurine was given for free. She ia really generous for she gives free items all the time. These are just some of the items that I have purchased from her.

25,484 steps???? Wow!!! You totally win! That is an amazing step count. If I get over 20,000, I am one happy girl! :))
Good to see you getting out there and going for gold. :) Progress... always construction, everywhere we go. Pretty soon, we will take all that is green away. But, for now, progress is good.
You really know how to make a girl hungry. I was ready to jump through the screen and serve myself a little bit of the pancit. It does look like a complete meal all by itself. I have had it, but never made it, so I stopped writing the post and looked it up before I forgot. Hello!!! Why have I never made it? I swear that I will be making this this weekend as I cannot believe how simple these steps are! Just know that you are the reason and I want to thank you.
I thank you also for putting together such a precise post, showing off your purchase in its entirety. I appreciate it! It was very enjoyable to read. I appreciate it.
You know I love when you are a part of the #MarketFriday Challenge! I have personally found there is always so much to learn about people, where they live, and how things are done in different parts of the world and I love hearing from you! For me, reaching out across the globe and learning about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, has been such a rewarding experience. You know how much I love gardens and even our gardens are different from place to place. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the rituals, festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages that separate us... and what is normal for us? There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. We do differ in many ways, which makes us interesting and unique, but, there are many ways in which are so much alike.
Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:

Please only one post each week. Believe it not, I run out of voting power if you put in many more than that.

Upped and Reposted!
Thanks to you I get to see more of our market and through this marketfriday it makes me more conscious about the things I purchase and where I spend my money. Just like with the cream puff I was honestly surprised that it was that expensive. Have I been that out of touch that I didn't bother with the price of one of my fave food?
Pancit is a traditional food that had been handed to us by the Chinese and it is present in every Filipino home especially celebrating events, that and spring rolls :)
