A Walk Through My Community

A few steps around my community, this sector is quite extensive and has many routes where you can explore. I wanted to tell you that since a couple of months ago they are beautifying all the buildings in the sector, they are doing maintenance to the infrastructure and painting their facades, the change is very significant, since each of the superblocks, now have different colors and make them more striking.

Un Paseo Por Mi Comunidad

Unos pasos por los alrededores de mi comunidad, este sector es bastante extenso y tiene muchas rutas por donde uno puede explorar. Quería decirles que desde hace un par de meses están embelleciendo todos los edificios del sector, les están haciendo mantenimiento a la infraestructura y pintando sus fachadas, el cambio es muy significante, ya que cada uno de los superbloques, ahora llevan distintos colores y los hacen más llamativos.

I thought I would bring you those moments in the middle of the work, and I have walked around the whole sector, capturing those moments. I went shopping first and took a shortcut, through a neighborhood that communicates with our community, this is different because the houses are houses. The parish where I live is characterized by being all buildings or blocks as they are also called. By an order that comes from the presidency, it was announced through its officials, that all the blocks of this parish, will now be a work of art.

Pensé llevarles esos momentos en plena faena, y me he paseado por todo el sector, captando esos instantes. Fui primero que iba de compras y me tomé un atajo, por un barrio que se comunica con nuestra comunidad, este se diferencia porque las viviendas son casas. La parroquia donde yo resido se caracteriza por ser todos edificios o bloques como se les denomina también. Por una orden que viene de la presidencia, se dio a conocer a través de sus funcionarios, que todos los bloques de esta parroquia, serán ahora una obra de arte.

The work for the young workers who have been hired is somewhat risky, since they have to be experienced and cautious in order to paint the facades. The design and color composition is in charge of the renowned Venezuelan artist Juvenal Ravelo. As some of the buildings have already been finished, I wanted to take some pictures to show the transformation and the new landscape we see in our community.

El trabajo para los jóvenes trabajadores que han sido contratados es un tanto riesgoso, ya que ellos para pintar las fachadas tienen que tener experiencia, y precaución. El diseño y composición de colores están a cargo del reconocido artista plástico, venezolano Juvenal Ravelo. Como ya han terminado algunos edificios, he querido tomar algunas fotos para dejar constancia de la transformación y el nuevo paisaje que vemos en nuestra comunidad.

First, the workers paint first, with white paint, which is like a sealing and then they go with the colors corresponding to each building, they, to perform this work, use the technique of rappelling, sliding with cords and using as tools a board, an eight and harness. I have been able to appreciate in this tour how advanced they are in the work and how skilled they are to handle abseiling.

En primer lugar, los trabajadores pintan primero, con pintura blanca, que viene siendo como un sellado y luego van con los colores correspondientes a cada edificio, ellos, para ejercer esta labor, utilizan la técnica de rápel, deslizándose con cordones y utilizando como herramientas una tabla, un ocho y arnés. He podido apreciar en este recorrido lo adelantado que están en el trabajo y lo habilidosos que son para manejarse a rápel.

I believe that in approximately one month the painting works will be finished in the whole sector, this will allow to change the face of a whole sector, once the painting works are finished, they will look beautiful, their colors will emanate joy and will give life to the urbanization.

Creo que en aproximadamente un mes finalicen los trabajos de pintura en todo el sector, esto va a permitir cambiarle el rostro a todo un sector completo, una vez que terminen los de pintar, se van a ver todos hermosos, sus colores emanan alegría y le van a dar vida a la urbanización.
