My Actifit Report Card: July 30 2024
BRIGADA ESKWELA 2024: Empowering the Minds of Through a Clean, Green and Inspiring School
When the sun finally appeared after nearly a week of rain, we went to the adjacent schools to volunteer for Brigada Eskwela, an annual event where volunteers clean the school grounds before classes begin. This was before we started our individual work assignments.
There, we did various housekeeping works, like sweeping the leaves and other tree debris that fell on the ground, trimming the branches of trees, uprooting unwelcome vegetation, and cutting the grass on the lawn.
After we are done with the housekeeping work, we have a simple snack together with the parents of the schoolchildren, the daycare teacher, and our client, who is also present at the said event.
