My Actifit Report Card: August 1 2023

The Hunt for Edible Wild Mushrooms is On!

I thought that I will just be spending an ordinary day with my buddy rendering routinary patrols in our designated workplace somewhere in the mountain when we receive an urgent call from our superior to transfer to the adjacent village for additional guard visibility at the said area.

So we immediately went downhill to adhere to the said directive and while walking along a trail leading to the site, I saw a cluster of mushrooms underneath the vegetation and I immediately called up the attention of my buddy to halt for a while to pluck the mushrooms from the ground as they deteriorate anytime if they will get soaked from the drizzle.

Then we resume our walk on the way to the outpost that needed our presence and we met the persons-in-charge of the said area and stayed there for a couple of hours.

After accomplishing our errands, we walked back to our workplace before we ended our shift.

Then along a trail not far from the walkway where we picked up the first batch of mushrooms we had, I saw another mushrooms clustering underneath a bamboo groove.

Sensing that we have still time to look and pick up those bounty concealed onto the vegetated forest floor, we scoured the vicinity to find some more.

I put the upper part of my raincoat off so as not to be damaged by the spike of bamboos and I can comfortably move.

After we had already picked up the mushrooms in the vicinity, we finally headed to the office to end our shift and we went home happy with our find.
