My Actifit Report Card: May 1 2022
Great writing today, though a lot of it was blog-posty stuff which is pretty easy and probably shouldn’t be given too much weight. Still got a good chunk done on Carrion Birds, though I’m adding a new fiction section (i.e. making my life more difficult), which means that I’m going to have to really push to get it done.
I think getting it done tomorrow is basically a pipe dream at this point, though there is the potential that I get all the text and interior stuff done and all I have to do is just shove stuff over to Affinity Publisher and get everything out in one piece.
I’m excited, not least because Carrion Birds is a return to one of my first “good” games and a really tremendous effort but also because I think it’ll be popular and go places.
Then it’s all Kenoma and Genship Exiles. The latter should be a fairly short process as well, I think, though I don’t want to shoot myself in the foot by jumping ahead of myself.
I also really need to get serious about my book on libertarianism. It’s silly to be sitting on a manuscript because I’m not getting stuff done. I think I’m going to make an hour of editing my morning routine, and that should get me through the manuscript pretty quickly, especially because I’m through the economics section which is where I kept finding things to add and explain my points.
Not a lot of physical activity. Foot’s bothering me a little, stomach was rough but cleared up today. Should try to get more, but I don’t want to risk making anything worse, especially with how an additional injury could really mess up my foot right now.
Still, everything’s good here.
