My Actifit Report Card: April 23 2022

Foot’s doing better. I was worried I had broken something, but maybe I just did enough damage for a few days worth of pain and bruising. I suspect that if I did break a toe, it is not my little toe as I had initially suspected but rather the fourth toe on that foot. It didn’t bruise up or (as far as I can tell) swell, but it feels more painful to the touch at this point and I think it maybe even feels a little abnormal.

But who can tell? It’s not like doctors would be able to do anything for toes unless it’s a complicated fracture, and I think it’s just a simple little thing if it is broken.

Writing still down, in part because I was going through the Lord of the Rings trilogy and it took a good six hours per film due to the added breaks and whatnot. I’ve also been in more talks with people about work, which has the odd counterpart of making me less likely to actually do work.

With that said, I feel like I have more clarity on Kenoma going forward and I’ve had something of a second wind working on that project. I’ve also gotten progress on Carrion Birds, so that’s good too. Should have Carrion Birds done by end of April, though I was hoping to have it done this week. Oh well.

Feeling generally quite fine other than the foot. Stomach is much better. I would be going out for a nice stroll in the morning (it’s cooled off a little outside) if not for the darn foot.
