My Actifit Report Card: April 3 2022
Symptoms have been a little all over the place today, but I feel pretty good as it’s coming up on time to go to bed, so I’ll take the wins I can get. Nothing seriously bad, but enough to make me glad I’m going to doctors to get it checked out.
As usual, Sundays are lazy, though I got about three thousand words written because I wanted to finish up an essay before I lost my train of thought. I need to make sure that I’m good about getting work on my games done, because at this point I need to be publishing stuff to make some money and not dallying on essays, but I’ve just had such a tremendous outpouring of ideas that I’m writing four or five thousand word essays on topics like it was nothing.
Also had some interesting conversations on Twitter, which is made all the better because none of them have devolved into name-calling recently (or, at least, no name-calling directed at the conversations’ participants, since Robert Reich was one subject of discussion and that bootlicker deserves all the name-calling he gets).
Generally feeling good and optimistic, a little tired. The reintroduction of cheesy goodness into my diet has been a pretty big morale booster (not that I’ve really been feeling down, but I can use wins now and again).
Started listening to Thus Spake Zarathustra on Audible and realized how much I really can’t stand Nietzsche any more. Too much of an ideological difference, I guess, and also the fact that I just can’t get into his style like I used to. Not going to complain, it led me to start doing more productive stuff instead of using it as an excuse to play games while listening.
God is good, life is good, I’m going to bed.
