El día 23 de noviembre comenzó la 5ta ronda de la fase de grupos de la UEFA Champions League. En el primer compromiso del día por el grupo E, El Líder indiscutible del grupo el Bayern Múnich visitaba al Dinamo de Kiev en su estadio de la ciudad de Kiev para buscar asegurar su clasificación a la siguiente etapa como primero del grupo, mientras que el Bayern llegaba con puntaje perfecto de 12 puntos luego de 4 victorias, el Dinamo prácticamente eliminado con 1 solo punto luego de 1 empate y 3 derrotas buscaba al menos sumar milagrosamente 1 punto frente al grande bávaro. Algo que llamo la atención en el Bayern Múnich fue el plantel que preparo para este equipo, si bien presento un 11 inicial de gran nivel como lo fue: Lewandowski, Muller, Sane, Coman, Goretzka, Tolisso, Davies, Lucas, Kouassi, Pavarad y Neuer. Solamente conto con 6 suplentes para este partido en donde dos de ellos eran arqueros dejando a Nagelsmann únicamente con 4 jugadores de campo para utilizar en caso de sustituciones inesperadas producto de cualquier lesión que pudieran recibir los jugadores en el campo de juego. Adicionalmente los nombres que figuraban en el banco de suplentes del Bayern Múnich estaban muy por debajo del nivel de los jugadores titulares siendo varios juveniles o jugadores poco vistos en el Bayern, esto condicionaba mucho al equipo al momento de hacer cambios lo cual es algo poco común en un equipo TOP como el Gigante Teutón quien siempre cuenta con grandes jugadores en su banco de suplentes.

En un estadio cubierto por la nieve y donde se podía sentir el frio solo de ver a los espectadores y a los técnicos, los 24 guerreros salieron al campo de juego para decidir su 5to partido en la fase de grupos, en los primeros minutos del primer tiempo vimos un juego interesante por parte y parte en donde a diferencia de cómo se podría esperar el Dinamo proponía y hasta estuvo cerca en varias ocasiones de lograr adelantarse en el marcador, en un balón que debería hacer sido despejado de manera sencilla por el guardameta Neuer este cometió un error poco frecuente en el al fallar al momento de golpear el balón y este siguió su camino hasta impactar en el poste derecho de la portería haciendo que solamente fuera un susto para el equipo pero de igual forma estando solo a centímetros de convertirse este error en un gol para el Dinamo.

Luego de un tiro lejano desde fuera del área por parte del Bayern el cual termina en un rebote en el área que Robert Lewandowski aprovecha para conectar una increíble chilena y abrir de manera majestuosa el marcador a favor del Bayer en el minuto 14, posterior al gol el partido cambio su ritmo en donde el Bayern Múnich empezó a dominar en su gran totalidad controlando el balón y teniendo grandes oportunidades para anotar el segundo gol. Ya terminando la primera parte y luego de una jugada colectiva donde participaron casi todos los jugadores realizando más de 20 pases el balón termina en los pies de Coman quien en el interior derecho del área de la portería protegida por Bushchan realiza un gran disparo cruzado que termina impactando en el larguero para luego golpear el poste derecho de la arquería y terminar llegando al final de la red sumando el segundo gol para el equipo del Bayern Múnich al minuto 42 y demostrando que el partido podía terminar en una victoria abultada para el equipo alemán.

Luego de tanto insistir el Dinamo logro descontar de la mano de Denis Garmash al minuto 70 y de estar manera tener 20 minutos más de partido para buscar un solo gol y conseguir rescatar de manera Heroica un punto como locales contra el líder del grupo E.

Este gol termino de darles el impulso anímico a todos los jugadores del Dinamo quienes lograron dominar durante los últimos minutos del partido consiguiendo varias ocasiones claras que no lograron concretar, parecía mucho más probable un segundo gol del Dinamo que un tercero del Bayern, pero a pesar de los esfuerzos de los Ucranianos el Bayern logro mantener la ventaja para llevarse de esta manera un importante victoria para asegurar no solo su puesto como líder del grupo sino también confirmar su posición como uno de los principales candidatos a conseguir el título. A pesar de esta victoria el Bayern no logro ser el equipo dominante y arrasador que ha demostrado en otros partidos lo cual puede crear algunas dudas en la segunda fase si no logra solventar estas situaciones a tiempo, un punto que falta en este Bayern es la capacidad o confianza en disparar desde fuera del área ya que en la mayoría de los casos se busca realizar jugadas en corto así el rival este replegado en su propia área, es en estos momentos en donde se extraña a jugadores como Robben y Ribery quienes además de hacer una gran dupla tenían esa capacidad de marcar desde fuera del área y resolver partidos cerrados por equipos muy defensivos.
